Slate Coping Secured With Mapei Exterior Adhesive

Ooops we've chipped a stone however it has also helped me show you that mapei adhesive is very strong because the slab is still fully sercured.
Do you use mapei adhesive?

Which Mapei Exterior Adhesive was used please ? Does it need a bonding slurry on the slate coping too?
