I had a 1975 Scorpion Brut 340. Still miss it. My parents bought it for me on my 11th birthday. 1979. 400 dollars. 500 miles. Unbelievable. Had to sell it when we moved from North Dakota in 1980.
Great job valdi! The chassis was good on these it really handled well. I met a guy several years ago who stuffed a ZR 580, clean job, in one . He was very proud of it. The thing just flew for a little sled.
Hello Handsolo. Scorpion(which Arctic Cat bought out in 1978) produced the Trail King Whip from 1978-1981, which the 81’s were just left over from ‘80 so I was told. I have a 1980 that I’m slowly restoring. They are beautiful looking sleds!
Awesome... thank you Valdi!
Was referred by Nutters Speed Shop and thanks for sharing. Sleds have evolved from the 60's and 70's for sure.

Very cool. Was before my time. But looks like it was ahead of its time. Nice looking machine
Keep up the great work Valdi. I love this series and the detailed history you provide with each sled! Cheers from Elk River MN
I had a 440 trail king whip. I think it was an 82?
