hmmm I don't do book buying bans. But my digital library mostly came to be due to special offers. For physical books I tend to buy favorites I already read mostly second hand (though to get the middle book in a series I had to buy it new). I usually give myself permission to buy a new book I don't know yet on a trip - for the memories ;D I'd like to have a little physical collection of my favorites, to lend to friends and reread them
I hear you on the kindle being more move friendly 🤣 but books are so pretty as well! A hard balance to keep 🤣 I have for sure bought books on trips for the memories too haha that’s a good one!

I've fallen into every single trap aside from special editions, I generally prefer to buy lots of paperbacks than one very expensive book, but I feel like I always spend a lot of money... 😭😭😭😭 I console myself by thinking that I am building the library I will use when I retire 😁
