Was thinking the same thing. Wonder if the thought of mcconaughey having a positive story of six flags going out of their way to help people to tell the public vs a story of losing his phone at the park had anything to do with it.

@@kirthgersen2485 because of the lines all the time at six flags, I’d be lucky to get on six roller coasters and the rest would have to be the boring rides. And he actually had a security guard film the whole thing? He got to go on the rides more than once? My god. That is definitely VIP privilege. Then they are going out in the water to find his phone and give it to him the next day? amazing.

That same thing happened to me at Michigan Adventures theme park. Only it was completely shattered front & back but least they still sent it to me in the mail lol !
I had the same thing happen to me concerning the phone actually. My phone fell out of my pocket going thru a loop, on the mind eraser at six Flags, and my friend that was with me looked at me and said, "you're calling me" lol. Needless to say, the security at the park found my phone and it was safely returned to me. :😊😊😊
I dropped my sunglasses at that same park and we all could see them laying there and they couldn’t give them to me because they couldn’t go to that area until closing time. Never saw those 5$ sunglasses again lol 😂

My brother is a sergeant major in the Marine Corps and lost his at Six Flags as well. He did literally everything to get that phone and they would not get it. He was willing to even go there at two in the morning when nobody was there never happened.

This literally happened to my dad at Dorney 😂. They ended up finding his phone like 2 days later, it was missing the case but still "worked" (it hit the track/car when it flew out of his pocket so the screen was severely cracked but the screen still worked with some malfunctions)
