- This is a nice jazz ballad entitled "Sir Charles Duke" and played by the Trio Da Paz and Herbie Mann on alto flute (around 1999).
The Trio Da Paz consists of:
Romero Lubambo - Acoustic Guitar

Duduka Da Fonceca - Percussion

I love the sound of jazz alto flute. It just has this dark, woody tone color that is just so nice to listen too.
I met Herbie Mann during the 70's in Singapore. He was and awesome flutist with a kind heart and gentle soul. Lovely Bossa, great guitar jazz musicianS. Hats off to all especially to great guitar player.🙏🙌🙏🌹💟🙇♂️
This is a wonderful, exciting and perfect jazz piece!
Thank you for sharing it with us. I am sad that we lost him so early. 73 years old. He was truly, for me, the quintessential Jazz Flute of my time.
