    I just flew a DA42 and I can say it must have inherited nosewheel steering from a used supermarket trolley

    • @glibsonoran
      @glibsonoran 5 лет назад

      The DA42, like a lot of small aircraft, has a castering nosewheel not a steerable nosewheel. It takes a while to get used to taxing a castering nosewheel because you have to use differential braking to turn; on the other hand you don't have to worry about squaring up your rudder pedals when your nosewheel touches down on a crosswind landing, and you can make much tighter turns to get around narrow cramped places on the ramp.

      🤔🤔🤔tell you what, I trade you the DA 42 for a used trolley cart if you want.😂🤣😂🤣👽😎🙂🍻

    Great video production. I hate music on these aviation videos. At the start it was hard to make sense of the succession of clips. Might be a great plane and great scenery - but this item I rate down.

      actually it is austrian. Just Canada has vorbidden any financial transfers (who knows why), then a canadian investor "helps" it out of that mess. Therefore there exists a joint venture. Second: The whole company got to a chinese investor, who - thanks god - doesn't influenced the company at all. At least the before owner leads the company without any requirements of the chinese investors.
      Fun fact: Due to the CO-Contracts the knowledge is "protected" against the chinese, they just grab of the yields. So far so good it is easy possible to say it is still an austrian company which uses austrian Tech. (most Mercedes engines are developed and produced in Austria btw - Steyr is an fully austrian company (which also provides engines for Diamond)). The Thielert (Germany developer company) was going bankrupted and that's the reason why no new Thielert-Diesel Engine was developed. Diamond got this with an joint venture with Steyr and Mercedes as "Austrian Engine" as own developement in its aircrafts. :)
      I hope that helps you out of our aurguments ;) -- and there ain't any arabic investors or anything like that participating ;)

    Is "wishful thinking" an Austrian form of navigation? At 4:41, your chart shows that, between Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, there is a country called West Bank. Really? Has anyone informed your government of the official, legal and internationally recognized country of Israel? And, in an emergency in the so-called "West Bank" country, how could you ever land your aircraft at that airport you see ahead - where would you find the frequencies to reach the tower for your Mayday call? I am not amazed, but stupefied at the use of such political wishful thinking for your charts.

      Richard Tamir It IS recognized as the west bank ass wipe,
      below it is written Israel.
      this bank is inside Israel so does Ghaza strip.
      Go and feed your lack of knowledge.
