Hey Randy I wish you would reconsider showing you geveing the mini van to your daughter I think that would be very great content and I think that all of us would be very happy with you and just to get to see her reaction would be great for everyone to be with you and your daughter I just hope you reconsider showing that thank you very much Charlie kretschmar Phoenix Arizona
Sorry this is a personal family moment and not something I want to put on RUclips.
At least film her driving away after dropping you off.
CMON MANNNNNNNNNNN@@AutoAuctionRebuilds
awkward comment 🥴
Maybe a still photo of her accepting it
You're a good dad Randy. Your daughter can now sock away the money that she's been saving up for a vehicle for a rainy day.
When parents help out it means so much, especially financially.
It’s a definite proof of love, anyone who is willing to invest in you financially.
She needs to have more children. We need for good people to be having more children. Stop letting Leftist freaks take over the world.
I think your daughter is very lucky to have a caring, loving dad like you! God Bless!
Weird noise might be the engine mounts. It appears to happen when the most load is applied to the engine at low speeds. Check to see if the engine rocks when revving the engine. Excellent choice of car. Your daughter will be thrilled.
Bingo. I replaced the passenger frame rail mount yesterday and fixed the issue.
Randy you sir are a good person helping your daughter & your Grandkids keep up the good job with the variety of entertaining videos
Thanks 👍
I am a fan of minivans. They are so practical. I have 17 Dodge Grand Caravan and it has been a great vehicle. There isn’t much you can’t do with them.
That is a beautiful minivan your daughter will love. Love this content, I am probably a minority but would like to see a little more love for the minivans!!!!
Finally Randy bought a nice Mini van for his daughter...he meant what he said...🎉😂
I’m so happy you do this. She deserves it so much as a mother, and glad it got fixed. Keep it up randy we love it to see it!
Back when I was in school, cars were traded or sold around 99,000 miles. I can still hear my grand parents say they dont want something with troubles.
As the economy got tighter and inflation started to feed the gov more of our money, the mileage mark to trade went up.
Some people didn't go by mileage but by cost to keep the vehicle.
If they bought the car new and made monthly payments, they prob paid about 500 buckeroos a month.
Once it was paid for, they were free and clear unless there were repairs needed.
My keep/sell mark was if I had to pay more than I did when I made a year of monthly payments.
The car would have something catastrophic happen before cost became a thing.
In the case of the van, you are talking 138,000 miles.
Now they took it in to get an estimate, they most likely told them $200 for the part and $150 for the time to do it. Thats $350. It was easier to donate the car and get a tax break then to pay for that repair.
Pretty simple thought process. Not the way I would have gone but simple enough.
good luck with the brakes on that thing. i have had a 2008 chrysler town and country since it was brand new and the brakes are very very bad
I think it’s incredible that you are doing this for your daughter and your grandchildren now that is being a great loving parent Congratulations to you Randy
Great job Randy! I knew you had a plan and had no doubt. I truly respect you wanting to keep the reveal private as you are doing this for your daughter out of love and not for content. You got her the vehicle you wanted and your patience paid off. You are a great father for doing this. Can't wait to see it all finished before you take it to her and give her the keys.
Great job Randy. Love those Mini Vans. Thanks for sharing the story with us. I know it’s personal for you and I appreciate your honesty. Hope your daughter and her family get many years of happiness with your gift
I know your daughter is going to love that car. A gift like that is absolutely life changing, especially for a family with young children. You're a great father and a great person for doing this for your daughter.
Could be those engine mounts. Engine touching subframe when you accelerate
It was the passenger frame rail mount. I replaced it.
Nice van Randy. My daughter has a '08 Town & Country. Her drivers side sliding door won't unlatch with the button or remote, but once you release it with the handle, the buttons will finish opening it, and will close it all the way. She also has a crack on tne passenger side of the windshield. It's over by the far side out of view normally.
The liftgate on yours is supposed to open electricly, but you might have to replace the struts on it.
For the serpentine belt, getting it off is the easy part. Getting it back on is usually a chore, unless it stayed in place on all the other pulleys, but even so, it's usually a lot harder to slip the belt back over the final pulley than to slide it off. I've only used used low mileage alternators or had the old one rebuilt when I've had one go bad. I've never had to replace one a 2nd time and I've changed a lot of my own.
@jmonte5899 check out the 2017 model of the town and country with it's C pillar mounted Stow & Vac, which is an incar vacuum system.

That is awesome man congratulations to you and your daughter
I believe that engine has a timing belt.
If it has not been replaced please do it.
It may be an interference engine.
it is an interference engine. If the van was 100% serviced by AAA I guess it's been done to it. But I'd pull those service records one more time to make sure that timing belt was replaced recently and if in doubt do it over
it is refreshing to see you know what life is really about i can see you are as excited as she is going to be, treasure the moment
Randy with all of the bells and whistles, check if there's a service bulletin to upgrade the alternator to a higher capacity alternator. If the van was owned by someone elderly maybe they passed on and the family decided to send it down the road.
This is such a lovely gesture!❤ Randy, you're a good dad, she's lucky she has you. 😁
That stow and go seating is incredible until you're ubering food and accidentally spill someone's seafood lobster bisque all over them and your car wreaks of rotten seafood for weeks no matter what you do lol! Seriously though happy for you.
Thank you for showing the work, I have learned SO much from this channel. I hope your daughter loves it.
Loved the talk about hiring out the easy but time sensitive tasks. I still battle with that especially if you know how to do everything yourself.
You returned you adopted kid because he was too much work.
@@Hellcat71782 oh is that why? Thanks bro!
@@StaufferGarage yes you even made a video on your wife’s channel saying the $500 speech lessons were too much money
@@Hellcat71782 so what are we accomplishing here on someone’s video about repairing a minivan?
@@StaufferGarage don’t talk to me
I saw the mini van when you were fixing the head rest in the BMW
Good on you Randy!
That Mini Van is awesome!
Super clean! Nice looking! Runs great!
Your Daughter is going to love it! Perfect vehicle for her and the Family!
Well Done!
A Dad is the best friend a daughter can have ...........................
Good job Randy, 👏 👍 good dad ! For looking out for your daughter, And your grand kids !😊
You are an awesome dad Randy good deal on the Van. It's gonna be a big help to your daughter
Fantastic video randy 👏 as a new father myself there's nothing I wouldn't do for my little one. Out of the hundreds and hundreds of videos of yours I've watched this was truly one of my favorites.
It’s called blind spot monitoring! Good for you doing that for your daughter
Also, a lot of those vans were known for strut bearings to make noises and sway car links and bushings to go out
Man I love this channel.
I used to buy a bunch of donated cars from a local charity auction. I got a TON of gems from there. Some People donate cars because they don't want to deal with the hassle of getting rid of them. Or they received some silly estimate that the car needs an obscene amount of work, in which the estimate is filled with fluid flushes, spark plugs, replacing perfectly functioning struts/shocks, exc.
Blessed channel! Thank you for teaching me how to if I need too! Thank you Randy
Brother Randy allways thinking of others family or not don't matter this is one of the nicest pakeg in a van you can get its beautiful im shure the owner is gona drop a tear for the van and the van beeing ass nice and fully serviced will just do that extra step to perfection im proud of u again budy thanks for the video and the good kindness you are a perfect example I hoop it'll do the magic to sum of the ppl watching this and apply any of the examples you provide in this video
Looks like a very nice van. Pretty sure your daughter is going to love it. She’s going to cry.
Love that you are giving this car to your daughter. She really needs it.
Great video and work, great van to your daughter😀
just so you know that is a timing belt engine. I would replace it before you give it to her. I just done one on my fathers 4.0 in his van. I hate timing belts but it was the easiest one I have done
This is so nice of you. I am looking forward to more content 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great Job Randy Congrats to your daughter and grands
Randy your a good father for doing this! I’m proud!
Such a nice van!! She’s going to love it for sure

Your a good dad Randy
That's amazing randy good job 👏
That interior looks really nice. Was worth the wait to get it interior wise. Even though there were problems with it, I know you are going to be able to fix it completely.
Love the channel. Just found it yesterday
Good on you Randy

Good job randy your good father to your family and your great person with a great heart
Love your video, Randy, and I'm glad to see you giving this to your daughter.
Lesson for your business: If your revenue model makes you a profit, that does not mean your grocery at the supermarket becomes free.❤❤
Great video Randy ❤❤❤
She'll love it! ❤
good for you Randy looking after your daughter and grandkids 🙏✋🥳
Awesome find
Your a good dad trying to help your daughter out with a van for her and the kids.
Have them check and replace the plugs if needed? Send it to Bryan at the Auto Spa so it is nice and clean for her? Only the best for your Daughter! I agree, it is a private family moment, same as when you gave Uncle Ron a vehicle......
You are a awesome Dad my friend.
A friend of mine just got a minivan identical to this except for the colour, and she loves it. Lots of toys to play with.
Hell of a cool thing to do for the kid and grandkids man. HUGE respect!
Great video Randy!! I agree, keep your private life private. And it sounds like divine providence that mini van coming up when it did. You are a great Dad for doing this for your daughter! Keep up the good work!!
You still have the thunderbird hardtop, let the boys, Ace and Nick sell it for you. It's valuable and bring for teenagers some serious money and experiences.
I was looking at that too lol
🤣 ur daughter texting you as she watches this video 🥴. Alll the best 4 ur daughter and her children with this vehicle. Thanks 4 sharing Randy.
I’m a longtime Mopar Minivan fan. Good find! You find quite the gem! Those alternators are quite easy to do.
I had one that was a rental car previously that Hertz took parts from another T&C to sell it. The Transmission was OK for a while then I was getting a code for one of the solenoids. Took it to my usual trans shop, they replaced the valve body and solenoids, discovered Hertz put in melted solenoids…
As long as you do your maintenance those minivans will run forever! Awesome video your daughter should be very happy!
You are a great father randy she is going to love it and I think she will like the color on it and that is a great find your videos are awesome
My dad was a jack of all trades. You and your daughter are a lucky dog. Good deal!
Grand dad of 3! Nice! Blessed.
This my man, is the cleanest Town & Country 4.0L I have ever seen in years👍👍👍
This is actually a pretty nice and kind of luxurious fun to drive van I like it. Good pick Im sure she will love it
You can tell by your voice this is a special van for you to work on.😅❤
sounds like A slightly loose heat shield to me. Nice find and great deal man. Love these videos.
that feature on the rear view mirror is called blind spot alert, this will be an awesome mothers day gift for your daughter !!!
Hello Randy. The 2010 Chrysler Town and Country is a good looking van. Seeing the inside of the van is beautiful. Your daughter will love the van.
Love the light blue metallic paint color too
Hey Randy, I agree with you going for a used O.E.M alternator instead of rolling the dice on a aftermarket or a reman unit. I just recently replaced the original alternator with a used junkyard O.E.M one for my 2001 NISSAN R50 PATHFINDER 4X4 5-Speed. It's been about 2 weeks and it's been working great. Also had the same symptom you had with the whine coming from the alternator. I said it as soon as you started the van up that's gonna be an alternator. I bet either of us are gonna forget that sound lol. Good job fixing it on the cheap👨🏾🔧
Chris.
The alternator noise is cause one or more of the rectifiers are bad dumping ac current onto the dc power system. That noise in any alternator means its shot. Well done.
Love it you have came a long way …. Your Alaska fan ❤
Nice looking van for your daughter and she going to love it my friend
Real nice Randy… congratulations I’m a grandfather now to she’s 7 mns now
You done a great job for your kid an gran kids buddy
New follower, loving your videos.
Everything work out perfectly for you Randy. You score big on the Chrysler Town and country mini van. It's in decent shape as well. I am sure that your duaghter would love it. 😎😎👍👍
I wish i will be in your position one day to do the same for my kids. Well done Randy
I've got a 2011 Grand Caravan and I agree that these vans are awesome. Mine's had it's moments of frustration with a bad transmission and multiple repairs needed from day one but now that it's sorted I would say I'm a mini van guy for good. I catch a lot of slack from my buddies but I really do love the versatility of the stow and go seating, not to mention reasonable gas mileage and room for activities. Band equipment, mini bikes, whatever, it's ready for it all. Good luck with yours, they were intended to be and really are a great car for a family.
Nice one Randy
Grandpa making moves! Great job Randy!🎉
Great van, love the color and I am sure your daughter will too! Will you replace the small LED turn signal on the passenger side mirror? They commonly fail on these, drivers side works just fine. Keep up the great content! 👍
What up with the headlights and screen at 36:47 Randy. Also your a good dad for helping your daughter out I hope she puts it to use and enjoys it
