      I've had a high of 19 but have been avoiding same drill. Got a little disheartened not approaching that 19 again. Will do the drill again with the cue 1 ball off the rail.

    I got 17 on my first attempt with a little advantage. My table is a 6ft and also I ignored the rule if i pot the white, because my position play needs a lot of work :).. other than that I'm pretty happy with my basic aiming. Excellent training video, thanks Sharivari

      Now you know where the scratches are! I've been practicing a lot of long shots lately and not worrying about the cue ball. It turns out that watching the cue ball do what it do has improved my position play. Instead of trying to make the cue ball do something, I'm learning to slightly adjust what it wants to do.

    Around the world without the frozen cueball ;) very good exercice, a little easier in this setup.
    Another good exercise to help with the money ball is to place the 8 ball on the spot, the 9 ball on the kitchen spot, cue ball in hand for the first shot. You play the 8 ball and try to replace on the 9, you replace the 8 ball on its spot, and go on endlessy. You can add some conditions if you find it too easy, like force you to hit one rail at least for each ball or replace in the other side of the table at each shot...

  • @murahk123
    @murahk123 10 месяцев назад +11

    Best way to practice last ball shots is to pretend there's another ball after and to try to get position on the next ball.

    • @prakash.srn.17
      @prakash.srn.17 10 месяцев назад

      Then you miss all balls! That’s the #1 reason to miss the current shot, yeah? Shape on next?

    • @taymorrison
      @taymorrison 10 месяцев назад +4

      @@prakash.srn.17if you’re trying too hard to force position then yeah, it can make you miss. but i think @murahk123’s point is that people often miss the money ball because they think of it as a different shot so it throws them off of their normal rhythm. generally with every shot you make, you should have a place in mind where you want the cue ball to end up, so the money ball should be no different

      @CaptainOnePocket 10 месяцев назад +1

      What's even better is to spread 15 balls on only the lower half of the table so none are touching and they are off the rails. Then take ball in hand. If the cue ball touches a rail or another ball you have to start over. The key is to always think 3 balls ahead. It's best to give yourself options though too. Like I'll shoot the 1 ball and roll forward to here for the next ball, but if I roll too far ill shoot this ball instead....

      I understand that you're upset. However, not being able to see the table doesn't diminish the value of the lesson. It's merely a nice feature to see your rating, which is why I've reserved it for those who purchase the course. I've spent over four months working on this project and have dedicated a significant amount of time to it, so you might understand why I am not sharing everything for free.

    My 9-foot pool table has 4 inch pockets. How does this translate on the results table?

  • @planetscore
    @planetscore 10 месяцев назад

    12 on my first attempt. 9ft tbl with tight pocket, but still it was a bit disheartening. Atleast it showed me where I my weakness lies. Surprisingly missed all the middle pockets by a millimeter each. Makes me think if I should aim at the far side of the pocket.
    Mr Shari, how much do pros make on average here? 22-24? Just curious..
