Stepping back is a good idea in general. You want to walk into your shot no matter what system you use to aim. And stepping back and walking into the line allows you more margin on aim. This tip helped my wife with missing alot.
I find that if you can not hit the thin cuts so fast due to position use a little inside English to achieve that slight overcut necessary if position allows.
I like this concept. I approach every shot at my cue’s distance away from the cue ball before I walk into my stance. I use a 64” cue which gives me a little more distance as well. I find that I can see my references better at that distance, plus it trains my consistency for my pre shot routine.

It could be the camera angle, but it looks like he's adding a bit of outside spin on these cut shots. Makes sense, if he's adjusting his aim for spin induced throw as well, it means he could be marginally aiming for a slightly thicker cut and still get the same result.

To play and develop very well on Amercan sized pool table, get your child an English/Irish dimentioned pool table with smaller balls and pockets, and then later in life wherever they are in the world playing on American sized tables it will seem easy to them and they will win 90% of games.
Just watched this video again. When your lining up for the 75 angle. It looks like your shaft edge might be a little to the right of center. I know you use edge of shaft aiming. Just wondering even though your parallel, are you using the edge of your shaft to aim ? Thanks
I saw another video on using outside english to spin the OB in where slow speed made it work better. Different deal I suppose so more power without using english eliminates cut induced throw as you said. Hmm.

This was my question as well. If the aim line is parallel to the line the edge of the cue ball makes with edge of the object ball then the ball would not cut both 60 and 75 and everything in between. Now it sounds like AB is saying you line up edge to edge as a guide but then judge to cut a little less thin if it’s on the 60 degree line vs the 75? I don’t think that was stated in the video but it has to work that way? Anyway great channel with great content!! I watch at least one video a day.

I swear I know nothing. I thought slower gives cut induced throw. I'd through massive, slow shot to make those high cut angles.

It’s not the same angle. You aim it different visually. That’s what the video is about… using edge to edge to aim differently.

Hitting w power is NOT a great option. Control of cue ball and next shot is to be considered.
