If Universal's Cinematic Celebration comes back next year, they can keep most of the iconic scenes but add new ones in between! Especially with these new special effects like the drones can finally interact with other seasonal lagoon shows, you'll see!🌎🎬
I was astounded by World of Color in 2014. I am sure other drone shows are cool, but lovely as they are, images of Disney villains, princesses and Disney ditties (which I love) touch a different part of the adult soul. AND in the end, one can love both. Most have room in their brains for both "When you wish." and John Williams.
Absolutely beautiful show!!! They did a fantastic job with this! Although I feel like the drones are overkill and don't add much to the show, other than that, absolutely beautiful!
I have seen it live twice. For me and for so many people there around me, They added TONs. and Tons. to the show. I apologize. I suspect you are not a sighted person. I understand your viewpoint now.
Does Rise operate fully any more? I think it's permanently in B mode these days. Disney are certainly ambitious (well, they USED to be), but then you end up with the disco yeti.
@@councilofkarens729 I think it’s in B mode a lot but not permanently. Believe me I’d be much happier if it were themed for the OT lol, but it’s a great ride for sure.
@@JediAlliance I keep hearing that Kylo isn't functioning and is kept obscured. It definitely sounds like KK stopped them from theming it for the OT. Massive swing and miss there! That would have been a license to print money.
I think maybe more along the lines of Spider-Man or the forbidden journey would be better if they use those templates to make those attractions they definitely would be cool.
I thought the projectors did a great job with this show, and I’d like to see Halloween and Christmas shows too, but also want to have a living show that can toss in new movie clips as promos. That’s supposed to be the advantage of screens and projectors, that they can be changed more easily. I thought the crowd was jazzed and I think it is a well balanced show, even if it can seem like a lot sometimes, that was needed.
It should be called the John Williams-sational show. Has any other composer had SO many absolute banger soundtracks. I know Zimmer, Morricone, Silvetri, Shore, Horner etc have great scores, but.......
Infact Universal has been knocking it out of the pack ever sense Jurassic World in 2015 Also Frozen in nothing compare to the films showed in this epic drone show
@@naturalistwarrior I just saw the new nighttime Universal Studios show… WOW 🤩 I love ❤️ it! They really did a great job. My only critique, is I wish they used the drones a bit more. But seeing the staypuff marshmallow man in the sky was EPIC!
UNIVERSAL LOVES TO COPY disney in all they do Disney has it first in Paris and already has a running show in Disney Springs that looks better than universals
@@naturalistwarrior Frozen??? Disney hasn't done anything with Frozen in years. It's not even in their most current drone show at Paris or Orlando. Why do you keep referencing Frozen. It has nothing to do with any of this.
@@naturalistwarrior Whilst it's true Frozen is featured, it's usually just for aminute or so now in the shows. Other properties are taking cignificance, and I will say that in Tokyo Disney Sea even though Frozen is part of Fantasy Springs, it's just one part of a much larger hole with many tributes to other films to be found throughout the land, not just the three it represents.
universal is just a copycat of everything Disney does Disney had this in Paris for years Disney also has a running show in Disney springs ! I really wish Universal would be more creative and think of something new instead of creating the exact same thing Disney did with over 800 drones that are flying right now in Disney Springs
Your double comment shows you're no stranger to copycatting. And anyway who cares? Maybe if the French city of Rheims or Amiens had the same drones, then one could gripe about copying. Orlando is a few thousand miles away.
Both parks have rollercoasters and dark rides. Is one of them copying, or are these just things that are in theme parks? I love both Disney & Universal. I used to favour Disney over Universal, but lately, I'm leaning towards Universal. That doesn't mean I'm a Universal shill or a Disney traitor (whatever you may consider those terms to mean). Can't people appreciate a show at one park? It's not a zero sum game proposition.
@@keouine it’s not considered copycatting when it’s your own word where Universal can’t be creative and create their own idea they have to copy off of Disney and they’ve done it many times
@@naturalistwarriorThe original World of Color from 2010 is so much better than this. Get real, no Universal movie holds the weight emotionally as Disney movies. No one has an emotional connection to minions or a T-Rex
Tbh I know people always squawk about “story,” but it’s kind of nice to just see a really great nighttime show set to music. Good job, Universal!
19:49 I feel like that was a missed opportunity to say "in an Epic Universe"... Oh well
Very nice compilation, seems a nice musical nod to just about everyone!
I thought this was great I especially loved the Jaws part with the enormous shark swimming along the surface of the water cool lol.
I literally teared up a Back To The Future, it needs a new land
It's the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man

Cinematic celebration is never coming back , it had negative reviews
How many movies from Universal orlando resort

All the pumps and lights are brand new so are the drones
That finale was next-level amazing. Can't wait for what Universal does next, plus, I'm also hyped up for Epic Universe.

I’m blown away by how tall those freaking geysers can get. Hopefully universal still has a show like this the next time I visit.
17:44 the Twister reference though 🌪
Needs more Bill Paxton.
They really cashed in on that Peaches segment 💀😅
Well for a show dedicated to music they have to put it in
@@TwilightLink77 Not only that It now feels like Universal represents Nintendo and Nintendo represents Universal (At least the way I see it)
That was pretty funny actually
Imagine if Universal created a BTTF or Ghostbusters attraction similar to rise of the Resistance?? It would dominate the scene. Would be incredible
Rise is overrated, it should use the scoop or Indiana Jones ride tech
