    This is the best I have seen on making this hat. Only I will sew the two together without the raw edges showing. Good job.

      It might not sit very well.to better understand this, make one with the notches and one without. The difference in the two will give you a better understanding

    12:39 you mention something called "goom"? Can you spell it for me? I cant hear the word you pronounce

      I think she's saying "herringbone".... Like herringbone tape. But I think that's soft. Horsehair tape is stiff. Corset boning is stiff too. Hmmm
      I'm also not sure if she is putting it like bicycle spokes all around, or if she is putting it seeing the far edge. 🤷🏻‍♀️
