I regretted choosing KOTL because he kept EXCHANGING his HP into shadow energy at the WORST possible time 😩
i was the lucky one cause i won with the worst ai hero in my team
Renewal on kotl and kibo helped a lot
But also its all being lucky the talents take a role event also is buggy exaple is when you have gradually getting power bar and turn ghost mode making you have infinite rage tzu (only case of bug i have encountered it may work on other characters)
Also renewal is not working when shadow ability is too long and you stop getting your power renewed

This event is literally rolling the dice. This isn't fighting, or "enjoying the spectacle". This is you watching as your characters helplessly die due to poor AI decision making.

The worst opponents:
Lynx with the automatic shadow refills (your bot just won't dodge the shadow move even though they usually could because the lynx doesn't have a mark on them.
Shang with shadow refill: the bot actually plays like it understands combos while in shadow form, while the rest of the bots refuse complete an attack that requires more than one press of the attack button.
Kate, apparently, plays like a bot that is actually designed to fight a human player.
thanks bro for showing the cons of the game in his video, as this is the only way to stir up developers, many try to reach them on discord servers and in support, but they either ignore you or say they won't work.

So, summary for the event:
Its an AI vs AI event, just choose the characters that you think will thrive and let them do the job.
Perks that you gain on the game are the following:
Viscosity: ai character may get slow debuff when attacking other ai character
Ghost: ai character will sometimes go ethereal when attacking(cant be hurt)
Pyromaniac: successful attacks will set ai character on fire(DoT)
Porcupine: damage dealt to an ai character will partially returned to other ai character
Overheat: ai character(you or opponent) will get hit by sunstrokes(smite) overtime
Renewal: ai character will gain full shadow energy or its alternatives
Accumulation: ai character will gain shadow energy or its alternatives overtime
Vampire: successful attacks restores health based on damage dealt
Destroyer: ai character will sometimes gain block break when attacking, and it dealt guaranteed critical damage
Characters that benefits on these perks are varying, but heres my personal opinion:
Renewal fits best with sarge, butcher, and marcus(with shadow lord talent), because it instantly refills their shadow bar, and will decimate their opponents while taking minimal damage
Destroyer fits jet, joo, and shang as they have moves with many combos, which will trigger the perk more often
Porcupine fits every character, but its better with the ones that have healing talents, such as kotl during dark incantation, yukka with cat training, clad with shadow respite, etc.
Characters that have second life, such as kibo with shadow excellence, kotl, and helga is good for last stand and more damages dealt

Edit:Soo, there's more perks on the event. Yes, more. These are epic perks(purple), and they're much more of a menace than the normal perks you get.
Detonator: an explosion will occur overtime, that's guaranteed to hit the ai character
Berserk: ai character attacks will be unbreakable and will break blocks at the beginning of the round
Intangibility: when ai character attacks other ai, they became invulnerable and push back the attacker
Freezing: there's a chance the ai character will freeze when attacking
Execution: when an ai character's health reaches below 50%, any successful hits causes fatal damage
That's what I got for now, don't know what's the legendary perks is, but I'll let you all know
Edit 2: welp, here it is. Legendary perks.
Restoration: an ai character will gradually restore health overtime
Burning: a fire dome will surround an ai character, burning the other ai character when around it

My marcus used harpoon shadow ability and hit the enemy after which, enemy had 19 hp left, but marcus decided to jump over him dan lose the fight with half health. (I think it's most rigged thing that has ever existed in gaming industry)
In my most annoying match, my bots got the gost ability four times in a row, while the opponent got it twice. I was worried the last round would time out, because the bots already struggle to hit each other without that perk in play.
This event is actually good where there's no tension of campers spammers or anything just click fight and it's on luck if you win
I've played this event 5 times... there was no situation where I got qualified after 4th round even after winning those 4 rounds back to back and then I've been losing 3matches back to back... and there hasn't been a single afterlife character given to me as a choice to select.

I haven’t played this event yet, but it seems like the best strat is to pick the bot Heroes you struggle against. For me, it’s the Kate AI and the Jack Bulwark AI. They both counter my every move.

I think because summer is usually a holiday period for many, so they made an easy event where you can just chill whenever you are and watch the AI play without any stress.
For somereason if you get Ethereal as Jack Bulwark during your bonus rolls he will Activate Full Body Shadow Fortress, if the opponent hit him during that period their hits got deflect and Jack will likely to punish them. Like if this helps
What will they do if we complain in gamein support change the event no. They will just cover themselves by saying we understand your problem sir and rectify it

You need patience for this event, dont play at a time all matches, give at least 3 hour gap amd start playing you will guarentee win this event.
Even if I meet the same opponent with my same character, there are times when ai becomes stupid. I feel like I'm intentionally being adjusted to act according to the winning rate.
The intention of the event is good, but it seems like the planner doesn't know the game.

also the final price in the marathon is literally one gem :(
Frankly, I'm enjoying this event. You just pick the most reliable heroes and go away to do something else. From my experience, the best heroes are mostly from the Dynasty, excluding Yukka and MK. Helga, Azuma and Kate are also reliable no matter what talents they have. Other characters can be useful too, depending on their talents (sarge, midnight, Markus). Avoid picking Itu, fireguard, lynx, MK and ironclad as they most likely will fail you. Always pick Xiang Tzu, Shang or Jet if you get them; the first two can be spammy with their abilities and Jet has the smartest AI.
I played this event exactly 12 times and failed to complete it only 3 times, which is not bad.
My jet only touched the opp for a moment then she presented herself as a cake.
I'm just going to say that the event is rigged on fifth fight all the perks you will get are shitty and the first two bots of yours will deliberately lose by playing so offensively there will be no defence however due to you having shittier perks compared to the opponent you are guaranteed to lose, all of my attempts always fail at the fifth round I just watched my ironclad, emperor, and Marcus get demolished while I had to watch as my 3 lives get turned to ashes
there is nothing you can do alter the chance of winning. there are no "best heros" you cna pick for this event
@@surlo69 sometimes bots just can't properly use hero abilities (monkey king ascension, sarge heavy kick, itu time manipulation, cobra chargebite, etc...). Pay a little attention and you will see that certain heroes are dumber than the others.
On the contrary, there are heroes that AI handles well. Those are Shang, Jet, Helga, Kate. Unlike other heroes, they are relatively consistent at using heavy attacks on a downed opponent.
@@hello111 that doesnt change the fact that the decision are all random. you might think certain heros are "smarter" but its just because the first few game always plays out in your favor. the last game will always be more frustrating because thats just how it was programed.
I had a pro azuma bot that literally reacted to every attack perfectly. but, on the last game, he was deliberately crounching to get hit. and, out of all heros, he was beaten by shang, the one hero he hard counters. azuma ate every single shadow move that round.
It would be more fun if bots fought, but players could influence their fight by buying bonuses: Block Penetration, Shadow Energy, Healing, Incorporeality, etc. The biggest problem is that at the beginning the bots are smart and fight relatively well, but in the last fights, their AI was clearly reduced.
i thought it was going to be like in story mode where you can pick out of 3 options, it was literally just rolling a die and everything is already predetermined. like, if you gonna do that just make it a wheel spin, why waste your time?
Everyone should understand the AI algorithm Custom behaviour towards the other characters machine learning
Nah this is one of the fun event . For first time we don't have to be stressful fighting Hacker , Camper ,....etc . Very chill Event

I thought basic attack if i press it will work. So i tried it and actually won in first try without losing any rounds. And surprisingly for the first time i got skin in the 2nd spin itself(almost no grinding). Today was my day😁😁😁😁
I got a final opponet bot team having sarge, Xiang tzu and I don't know who else. Xiang tzu ocvd my whole team spamming special attacks and upper attack when in rage

I have a trick if u feel that u are loosing the round just directly cut the game and restart u will see that ur life point are same and do that again
It would be a better spectacle if the bots actually understood the game. Instead, it's a spectacle how bad they are.
Also, they might as well play each round at 4X speed, to make them more bearable to sit through.
Honetly this event is personally good for people who have no skill like me because i can just sit and watch also as a sf3 player i already fight against ai so for me this looks like boss vs boss and my favourite event
Lol it was a breeze for me. Chose the right heroes and got all the wins in a row without any losses. I believe it was sarge, azuma and helga.
If u see Jack Bulward or Marcus u must choose him. These bots don't know how to kick like a dynasty or herald

No this takes skill...U need to know how AI works for each heroes..and how different abilities work and who would get most advantage...For me,best AI characters are Shang,Yukka,and Azuma👍

I honestly got lucky cuz I got Marcus with legions hero, it's just a chance of luck at that rate, but there's one good thing players don't have to rage themselves and like throwing their phones out of anger like what I did I press fight then just left my phones do it's thing while I did something else 😅😅😅😂😂😂

The opponent were some random players, not the bot who get stronger at higher level...
My first 2 rounds were all successful.
5-0 with Shang/Sarge/XiangTzu
5-1 with Gideon/June/Cobra (Lost once on 2nd game- opponent's perks were too strong)
5-1 with Gideon, Ling and Monkey King (MK sucks in this tournament)

I can see why everyone hated this event. If we can control our characters, but keep the dice roll, then it's a good event.
I guess nekki wanted to teach campers and spammers a lesson through this event where they can do nothing while their opponents are constantly spamming and camping at some points as well.....but it is still horribly wrong for aggressive players (just my opinion)
i think this event was designed towards newer players who probably get thrashed by everyone else in normal tournaments
The 1st try i choose Butcher,Xiang Tzu and Fireguard and i win all the battles without losing a match but after the 2nd match it was hard.
