Hey Grill I learned a trick when making alloys, if you bring the bucket to the melting point of the higher ore you can put the bucket on the ground and add the lower temperature ore to the bucket and leave it for a sec and it will melt without having to cool it or put it back in the furnace. There are also all alloy ores in the mine except Yhude ore
all 3 ores must be liquid before adding to the last ore. such as - gaurila melt 3 silver 1040 then cool below 800 then add 1 khanka then heat to 960 then to 1040 moraka melt 1 cila 1920 then cool below 1600 then add 3 gold, then heat to 1170 then to 1880
Yea, I gave him the original idea on video 4 or 5, I assume he got it from me since he liked my comment. There were 2 ideas, one was yours but ig he went with the other. I'm not lying btw, you can check the vid, I think it was #4 but maybe 5
for normal slaves. you move them between workstation/ mine, press C then select the slave and choose what he/she should do in the right side of the sceen. for warrior slaves is basicly that same but you can see thier inventory to give them armor and also give them the weapon your holding while talking to them.
26:01 you always forget to count the tip as part of the weapon. It’s required to made a blade and adds 5cm to the total length. That’s why in the last episode your iron dagger ended up a short sword
To assign a slave, Press "c" to go to the character overview. Then on the slave, so the slave is highlighted, after that click on the place want to assign them. Great episode! Like seeing you play.
Just a heads, up if you are still curious, the ore types page tells you the density of the ores. Each ore is 0.1 liters. 0.1 liters = 0.0001 m^3. So, for example, Iron with 7874 kg/m^3 = .7874 kg per ore. If you just look at the total weight of the metal bits in the design window, before adding a handle, you can easily calculate number of ores you need. There is some margin for error, as your pour accuracy, and how long it stays melted, and a bit of rounding can throw it off, but generally, just give yourself like a .05-ish kg buffer and you'll be fine.
From what i can tell, a full gold sword sells for the most but is hard to produce reliability due to how expensive/rare gold is. I would go with the really good green ore for blades and the red for maces. Use gold for pommel and guards = ridiculous money. Also plz get the other potions, if only for style to match weapon colors.
Tip for shaping the soft metals (the red one in particular) - Normal temperature hammering till 70-80%. But to get it to 99% at smaller increments, let the metal cool to 200 degrees
Yeah, the "helper" mining thing took me a second to figure out. You'll need to open your character panel by pressing 'C' and look to the right of it. You'll be able to drag Steve to a slot of ore. That'll send Steve mining, just like he used to in the 'Craft days of yore.
since the night cycle ends when you want it to, you can have your "helper" mining and you can make all the weapons you want to (additional helpers can also be backup smiths and 24/7). ensuring each day has full sell racks, so that custom orders can be prioritized in day time. good stuff, id like to see more keep it up.
YES!!!! Another Medieval Blacksmith Video... KEEP IT UP!!!! A game where more is done after sundown then what most people do all day 😂 .... Also, Aren't you afraid you will be facing the weapons you make in the Arena? Don't you want to make weapons from the "bad" ores to sell, and make the weapons you want to keep for yourself from all the "good stuff"?
For both cash flow and rep grind, maces are your friend. Super fast to make and they use two ores each, so they are worth a lot of cash. Get one working mining gold and one worker building maces to sell full time. Residual cash flow. It takes about 3 weapons for your worker to get good enough to make money on the stuff they make.
If you're looking for the best money to time spent ratio, just make maces. They're fast to forge, fast to sharpen, and make more than half the price of a giant two hander of the same properties that would have taken 10 times as long to make. Maces are faster to make than daggers, and generally sell for more than a dagger would. Also the best way to keep your ore from burning is just to not close the lid on the forge all the way. Just leave it open a crack and you can watch the bucket and take it out the instant it goes liquid (Or actually like a fraction of a second later, so it doesn't re-harden on you while pouring). Works so much better than closing it all the way and just hoping you don't cook it too long.
You can assign your workers to mining by pressing C, then select the worker and the ore you want him to mine The sale price is based on the weight of the metal. So it all balances out, heavier cross bars, pommels, and blades all mean more money. If you mix them (iron guard, gold blade, copper pommel) you are just paid for each metal's weight. Making maces, axes and war axes is definitely the fastest/easiest way to make money quickly. It takes almost no time to hammer and sharpen.
when doing multi pours if you swap between the tongs you dont need to drop the bucket it will just stay in the number 4 tongs when you switch to the number 3 ones. and for the ores the lower density ores are easier to hammer. i think it laho blade /gold handle parts is the best bang for your buck so to speak.. next potion i recomend lightning you will enjoy swinging them lol
with two mining Helpers mining gold, they were able to keep three smithing Helpers making gold daggers around the clock. i think i had half a million at the end of the game.
13:51 I seen somebody else not have money at this point and he demanded you make him a golden sword and gives you like a couple thousand more than what it takes to make
Looks like the speed that you cut the handles is the problem I think. Maybe you gotta upgrade Renfield before he gets digging. Love this game grillman!
As far as I've noticed, the sale price is really only affected by the price of materials and quality of the build. To make quick money ive been making solid gold maces and hammers. You blow through a ton of ores that way, but it's an easy way to make a bunch of money
you might not be aware of this bud the blade shape influences how much metal goes into it. and you could also calculate how much ore you need for a blade once you know how much liquid one ore produces... so there is still room for improvement. and the giant slayer is so much worse in Price for the materials it consumes. short swords all the way to maximise profit
Just so you know grill that guy that came in and didn’t ask for anything is the owner you rent from and if you don’t have much money he gives you 9k to make a gold sword but if you have gold already free 9k
yo i have been thinking about getting this game and i wanted to see the skills a little better and after every sell you gain points so if you bought more sell racks and put a bunch of cooper easy to make daggers or maces without worrying about profit so the sell chance is high can you gain a lot of skill points or is it tied to price. i just thought it might also be tied to quality. if you could could you test both next time you dont even have to buy more sell racks.
My b if putting the hotter ore in first doesn't help, I left that comment on video 4 or 5. The other part of my comment suggested you instantly put the lower heat ore in after you heat the hotter one without cooling it. (I only assume what you did from the video was from my comment because you hearted it. And Tbf, it was better quality than the next one you did but took longer)
Ur next upgrade, I vote should be a trade upgrade so all the sales give you more gold = less time needed to do more progression. Ps I apologize I know not of this slave mining
Look at your melting points and I'll bet you the lowest melting point is the easiest to hammer. I've never played the game this is entirely an assumption lol

Yudhira ore is in the mine, its at the same place you find Rai and Iron ore.

hell yeah, commenting just to let you that I've watched every video you have of this game, loving your content so far, keep it up

I really liked seeing some of the different ores being used this time. The different colors just look so nice, imo. 😊

Oh thank you so much for making a giant killer banger video like always

Woo another episode!
You're getting pretty good at this game, can't wait to see you get to participate in the arena and go further down the story
Love the series, keep em coming
Maruka maces is the best way to make money and stretch out your gold ore. Keep up tidsvids!
WOHOOO ANOTHER EPISODE
Started your 7DTD playthrough ( first video at the half) but had to leave for this video! Love that game, can't wait for arena
Thank you for the very interesting video!
I'm curious to know what type of weapons you can make later on. Like, maybe a Rapier? That'd make me hella happy lol.

I cannot wait untill I can play this game. I wanna make so many cool swords

Live long and prosper.
If I’m just trying to spam out works to fill out the shops I just pick one of the maces because you can finish smithing and quench them in one heat.
13:51 I seen somebody else not have money at this point and he demanded you make him a golden sword and gives you like a couple thousand more than what it takes to make
spears( helbeard heads) maces and axes are the most effective use of metal ( though spears are wood ineffective)
Enjoy the video
Looks like the speed that you cut the handles is the problem I think. Maybe you gotta upgrade Renfield before he gets digging. Love this game grillman!
Wooo! Haven't watched yet but YAY another episode! PS: For those interested, a Demo is on it's way for the game hehe. I can't wait!
I'd have made the giant killer with gaurila ore just for the cut rate up top alone. 5:52

Can you make a double bladed glaive
I think you should use your other potion for the quenching more often instead of just fire
At 20k a peice it's something I want but need spare cash first
@@Grillmastah you have two already you bought the purple one as well as the fire they are on the table in your bedroom
@@Alex_one_and_only the purple potion is "clear water" it just resets the barrel to normal

Support! Hi! Hello! Bienvenue!
wait until 540 degrees and then dunk for temper and it will slow almost all the way at 99
so why dont you use the lathe on the hilts?
Feels like a waste of time 90% of the time
Just so you know grill that guy that came in and didn’t ask for anything is the owner you rent from and if you don’t have much money he gives you 9k to make a gold sword but if you have gold already free 9k
I think you have 2 potions but I believe I've only seen you use the fire one ? Is there a reason for that or have you not noticed?
Other is just to turn back to water
@Grillmastah ahhh ok
to have the sl@v35 mine, click C then click them from the anvil back to middle, then over to the type of mine
❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😊
Did you hide a video on this playlist? It says one is hidden
Edit: Just checked and this was the hidden one, did you mess up the title?
It is so refreshing to watch someone who's good. This other guy drea i think was making me mad.

Hey grill you ever played medieval dynasty?
Got a good sized playlist on it, if not the whole game, cant fully remember
@Grillmastah oh awesome I got lots of questions I bet those will answer

It says in the alloy book to put the one with a higher melting point in first so I think it was good
The second dagger is worth less bec of the guard it's the same with the mace the tiny guard u keep using isn't worth much
I made a ton of money by making a bunch of small dagger sized spears
Ur next upgrade, I vote should be a trade upgrade so all the sales give you more gold = less time needed to do more progression. Ps I apologize I know not of this slave mining
3k view in 8 hours boiiiiiii
