That's messed up it's not hurting anyone weed eat around the stuff you can't mow being able to put something on a family members grave helps a lot of people a lot of families look forward to it every year
This is is awful I cannot believe some messed up township would do this to their people! Another form of dictatorship!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 How dare they remove stuff that doesn't even belong to them that is stealing furthermore these people have bought these lots that they place their loved ones in! So to me that's trespassing which is also against the law
The ones on city of Wyoming do the exact same thing.. been this way for years and apparently they don't let people know.. my son was heart broken when everything he got for his mom was gone.. they were placed on top of the gravestone and still disposed off. We were told it's ugly.
we have a sign posted, "all flower's not in perment vase's need to be removed 2 weeks after the holidays". other wise we have dead flowers in pots and faded plastic flowers, not to mention its hard for the lawn care people to do their jobs, after they leave they can bring them back out
Our trimming crew does an ongoing removal process, anything that is inhibiting their work is taken away, the rules for decorations are posted clearly for everyone to see. Many do not follow the rules, but we correct the situation as we carry on with our professional duties.
yeah as a cemetery maintenance worker this is not right we have rules though at our cemetery you must have everything on the stone nothing in the grass because we have to be able to drive lawn mowers and equipment down the rows the only time we take things off the stone is if it's dead flowers or fake flowers that are falling apart and the wind start blowing them everywhere
Agreed. As the foreman of a large cemetery in Tennessee, I'm familiar with this situation. Fake flowers are a problem, if you you trim around them with weed eater, you always inadvertently destroy them and make a confetti of ripped fabric all over the yard. If you don't trim around them, you have a tall stand of weeds blocking out the view of the monuments. If you pull them out to trim and then replace them, it takes so long that everything else is neglected. Trash flowers are trash. Be respectful and follow the rules, small potted plants and live flowers ONLY until Nov 1. After that, artificial flowers UNTIL March 1. No balloons, no glass vases. Consider where you are and act appropriately, complaining to a news crew makes you a Karen.
This is *BEYOND* disturbing & disgusting! I hope the officials who did this insulting thing to t g ese families get voted out of office at the next election. Sending all the poor people affected by this lots of love from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
As the Foreman of a cemetery grounds crew, I regularly clean out defunct trash flowers (artificial flowers) which get wind blown about, or old sun bleached arrangements. It must be done, or the entire cemetery is in the news for being trashed. We have a sign indicating what is and what not allowed, live flowers and small potted plants ONLY, until Nov 1, artificial flowers are allowed ONLY AFTER March 1. Cleanup is good. The trimming and mowing are always on schedule, nobody has any serious complaint this way. The town cemetery needs a full time crew so the families cannot overrun the beauty of the place. .
Isn't it NOT FUNNY that government chooses what is acceptable for grieving family and what is not? I find this disgusting - vote them OUT and put people in there that care for those families.
True, the rules prohibit trashing up the cemetery with piles of debris. People love to act hurt when they are corrected, it's childish to complain about people doing their work.
@@MRVN-ji3kk Try doing your job without whining. What's wrong, do you have to bend over to move things temporarily and your big beer gut makes you uncomfortable and out of breath? Sounds about right eh?
Once You pay for a plot You should be able to have whatever you like on that piece of land You paid for

Good on you, it looks much better without all the trash flowers and old broken pots laying around.

I mean no disrespect, some people go way over the top and if everyone does it.. then it can look tacky.

What many people forget is that the cemetery needs to be mowed.
But the families were never warned that anything was wrong. If there was a rule about it, they should have been told from the get go!

Well, you have to follow the cemetery rules I guess.

This is sick and not respect the people
Scandalous!!
