It was lovely to see how many farmers made the effort to present their tups as looking their best and enhancing their breeding and got good prices for them. Unfortunately you only thought that you should look ur best in the ring….and spent virtually no effort on ur tups…some will say that “ dressing “ them is irrelevant…the proof of the pudding etc.
We do dress our tups and every breed has its breed standards. With the Lleyn breed you can only wash their heads and legs. You are not aloud to trim, colour or modify their fleece in any way before a sale or showing etc.
