I've actually been doing this for years with left over pulled pork/brisket/chicken etc. Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls are really popular around the house. Good to see a real chef had the same idea!
@@dr6511 left over chicken, mines usually smoked, cream cheese, butter, hot sauce, garlic, soy sauce and caynee pepper for the filling - don't use thick wrapper like wonton cause its to much breading in my opinion -- thinner the wrapper the better, fry it up until golden
Chef Tom, another banger. Your channel, by far, best content on RUclips. Nothing disappoints. The way the show is filmed and your cadence, home run. Continued success. Shout out from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NYC.
Hopefully with enough likes it will get their attention! I am getting married in June and have a YS640 on our registry. If they made a pellet video I would make the purchase from them.
You should be able to freeze and safely fry them up later since the filling is already fully cooked. Growing up, when my mom use to make lumpia she would do it in a large batch by cooking up the filling and then rolling about 50-60 lumpia. We'd have some the night she made them and she would freeze the rest to fry up for another day. The process for these cheeseburger egg rolls are the same for how my mom use to make batches of lumpia. You can fry these fresh or from frozen until they're golden brown and it's all good.
for a dipping sauce... before cooking, cut up a clove of garlic and half a chili pepper and add that to an 1/8 cup of apple cider vinegar and a 1/8 cup of soy sauce and let the flavors come together in the fridge.
Looks so delicious. I will be trying this before next weekend. Serious question though, how do you dispose of your oil? What's the best way to dispose of that amount? I would fry more if I knew what to do with the left over oil
Dump it down the drain or find a wildlife preserve and pitch it there. Seriously though, if you live in or near an urban area you might have a recycling center that will take it. There are websites like Earth911 that you can check to see what's available near you. If that's not feasible, bag it up well and add it to your outgoing trash.
When you change oil in your car, save the container for used frying oil...then, when you pour your used cooking oil in the empty container, glue the lid on and put it in the trash.
Go to Busters Burgers for lunch in Wichita i guarantee you that ole boy has the best in Wichita nothing fancy but damn!!!! Get the triple chz and fries!
Endless possibilities with this. Instead of mustard i was thinking bbq sauce. Instead of pickles, some bacon. Pepperoni and mozzarella Buffalo chicken....
@@allthingsbbqAfter cutting length wise and removing the seeds. I have sauted them in chicken stock or soba soup to remove some bitterness but not cook them until softened. Then stuffed them like green peppers in the past. I smoked them to cook the meat, rice and vegetable stuffing. Then wrap them in bacon with the two halves together or separate really comes out great either way.
If it had more green vegetables and some carrots, believe me, it would look very good and of course healthy. I think the oriental version is much better than this one. IMHO!
Those napoleon grills are shit house. I totally regret buying mine every time I use it. It’s so bad I can’t even sell it to contribute money to buying a decent gas bbq.
The episodes that y'all leave Tom's outtakes in are always the best. Keep up the great work guys!

Was watching this thinking about Buffalo checking egg rolls and then saw this comment. Any good tips or recipe?

I would love to see Tom’s take on a gyro/souvlaki! I’m surprised he hasn’t done one already to be honest haha
Looks great!! Nice cheese boogal!!! Something classic but different. Can’t wait to try it!! Thanks Chef!!

VIDEO IDEA
Can you do a video on all things pellets? Different kinds of pellets, how to store them, flavor profiles, etc.
good call!
@@twistedsphere thanks JJ!

Yes please. I love my Traeger grill but honestly I don't really get much difference in brand, type, or mixes. Shrug*

Thank you! I love egg roll recipes. Just had cheesesteak egg rolls last night.
Love that knife you’re using!
I love Cheeseburger Egg Rolls 😋😍.
We couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching!
If my gf and I were ever to get married, this is the kind of food I would want served at the reception.
Tell her
@@hungrydad7537 Lol she said screw the wedding, gimme the egg rolls!
Kindred spirits!
These look so good. Might have to try these
That's a definite game day munchie!
I could go for a plate of these, very nice!
Kewpie Mayo, velvety smooth, but with MSG. Uncle Roger approved
Because MSG is amazing.
@@tewlbocks3362 yes, its not bad for you like the crazies want you to think. Just another marketing ploy.
Is it weird that you’ve watched for long enough that you say the seasoning rub that Tom is going to use on the brisket before he does?
Found your video. Made these for a party in the Netherlands and they slayed! I made 40 and they were gone in under 20 minutes.
That's awesome, we love it when our recipes get put to work. Thanks for being part of our community!
I want these in and around my mouth
I've been doing these for years, wish I had put them on RUclips first lol. Good job dude, look great
The master is back
awh yeeahh! I made some cheeseburger lumpia during football season last year. DAMN good stuff.
Could those be frozen before deep frying for future use? Looks great.

Gotta give this a shot
Ooh! will it eggroll? New challenge for atbbq
Nice and mouthwatering recipe again - love it 👍👍👍
Great video. I like the brisket idea!
Chef Tom you never cease to amaze us minions!!
Thanks for watching!
“That cheeseburger joint flavor” it literally is a cheeseburger joint.
My Therapist: “The cheeseburger joint cant hurt you”

this looks like a movie ...
nice color grading
Only problem, what’s everyone else going to eat? 🤤
9:55 is my favorite part of this video
Chef, your making me hungry! Should have watched after lunch
Awesome... those look killer!
Awesome. I'm making these this weekend. TY
Awesome! Happy grilling!

I have to make these for my hubby! They look 🔥

Looks amazing! Will be trying hmmm I bet chef Tom could pull this off as a Nashville hot chicken Sammy or a z-man
And now ... I'm hungry!
Always leave in your mistakes, Tom. Humanizes and endears you, my man. My boys and I always try your stuff. BBQ chicken bombs and ABT are the bomb.
Just watched the turkey egg roll video and it made me remember this one. Would tallow be a good oil to use to deep fry? Thanks
Bloopers for the win
And then there's that :)! Thanks for watching!
oh my god your a genius wow cheese burger egg rolls wow... got to try it...
Delicious
it's the cheesy burgerest!!
This is UNNATURAL!! Can I have a bite?
Awesome, Tom! Is this the same pastry you would use for a spring roll?
No. Spring roll wrapper is super duper thin. A wonton wrapper is the same as an egg roll wrapper.
Great recipe! Can you tell me the size of your egg roll wrappers? Thanks mate!
We always do this with leftover taco stuffings...
That's a winner. Those will disappear just like the jalapeno poppers do. Gone in minutes.
Yo chef tom. Ive made like half of your recipes...all awesome. Hook it up with a gumbo recipe? Can't find a decent one anywhere
Damn that looks bomb

Good idea!
Are your gas grills burning LPG or natural gas? Different fuels burn at different temperatures and sometimes you can taste the difference.
looks delicious but instead of water you can use egg wash :) it also give it some color
Looks real good. A must make in the near future. Thanks CT!
where can I get those black rubber gloves? are they a special kind for cooking?

Can you please do Texas Twinkies?
What kind of knife are you chopping that onion with?
I didn’t realize you guys are in Kansas!
Yep, we are in Wichita, KS! Downtown in the Delano District.
Since the Reuben is your favorite sandwich could you make this video again as a Reuben Egg roll
Request noted! Thanks.

Eh cute idea, but it needs some toothsome crunch inside...like cabbage/celery, otherwise it's just crispy moosh.
What knife is that?
Noms! Chef Tom, what is your favorite burger joint in the Wichita area?
Oooooh damn 🤤😍
Endless possibilities with this. Instead of mustard i was thinking bbq sauce. Instead of pickles, some bacon.
Pepperoni and mozzarella
Buffalo chicken....
I really liked this recipe but my eggrolls looked completely burnt after just 20 seconds in oil at 315 degrees. What did I do wrong?
Do you do take-aways 😄

When you shave that beard, will you be offering trimmings on the website? Thanks

Stupid question from somewhere this isn't a thing: can someone describe what an egg roll wrap is made of..?
Typically egg roll wrappers are made out of flour, eggs, water, and salt that are rolled into 1/8" thick or thinner.
They sell these at Disney world
Who the heck hit thumbs down?!
bro,if it stinks in your house it's not the fry bro.
You mean traditional American Processed Synthetic Cheese....:)
Yup, that's the stuff. And it's delicious.

The World's Greatest Cheese!
