Hmm, maybe we should call the SCP Foundation. Sounds like Firewave stumbled upon an audio cognitohazard, and decided to use it, knowing the power it has.
MTF units are trained to resist the effects of most cognitohazards, so they could contain it, and perhaps the song would be given SCP classification.
This is why I hate boy bands. Always dealing with cognitohazards.

I like how everywhere a EAS announcement hijacks the whole screen and says everything from text to speech
But here where I live, in Nevada, all that happens is just that a scrolling bar appears on top of the screen, show goes mute, and text to speech of the announcement begins, while the scrolling bar just say the EAS Announcement, order type, and what the TTS just says on the scrolling bar

The Sound of Madness. This reminds me of a classic 80s episode of The Twilight Zone. Where people from somewhere in America People that went insane after hearing a strange broadcast on the radio. Even the main character ended up going mad in the end of the episode. Creepy

This could make a good Cosmic Horror movie, and the title is perfect - The Sound of Madness. A certain soundwave makes your brain go haywire and you enter into a trance, then descend into madness.
As someone who lives in Indiana, civil unrest is something that I can't really see here but I wouldn't be surprised.

EAS Scenario #39: Corruption
A group of miners decided to mine deep underground
They found an abnormally dark stone that doesn’t look like coal or anything similar
Someone touched it and felt a painful sting
The next day that same person has bad fever and darkening of the hand
They become hospitalized
Person is concerned on why
Their hand darkens even more and more symptoms begin to appear
Symptoms are the following, but not limited to:
- Fever
- Coughing / sneezing, coughing results in the ejection of a black colored mucus
- Numbness in the affected limb
- Darkening of the skin on the contact point
After a few days, their hand completely blackened, becoming similar in color to the mucus that appears when they cough.
After this event, this “black paint” spreads over the course of a week until it has gotten to their brain, when they encountered the following:
- Zombie Arm Syndrome
- Partly Sociopathic behavior
- Numbness of the fingers and toes
- Numbness of the “painted” areas
- Anger issues
- Mood swings
Then they start to question
“Why am I here?”
“What is my purpose right now?”
etc.
Before they new it they became what can be best described as a demon. Fully “painted” with the “black paint”.
They then encountered the following:
- Murderous tendencies
- Psychopathic behavior
- Distorted voice
- Disease is now contagious
They became too powerful to be held and escaped.
The person was quickly reported missing
They were causing a massive genocide in the surrounding city, if anyone was even left alive, they were often wounded and infected.
Then authorities tell people to seek shelter ASAP.
(Warnings and crazy stuff happens for next year)
In the end, some people were hidden so well that the corrupted ended up dying
The little of the government that remained searched for survivors after they deemed it safe.
2,533 survivors have been found in north and South America.
1,272 survivors have been found in Europe.
762 survivors have been found in Greenland and Iceland.
3,666 survivors have been found in Asia.
177 survivors have been found in Australia.
And surprisingly, 1 survivor was found in Antarctica.
bringing a total of 8,411 survivors.
Very interesting concept. The only issue I somewhat see with it is it being similar to numerous aspects of my other videos. An ancient artifact causing the issue reminds me a lot of Petrified. The whole "Zombie Virus" thing I did in a different way in Overgrown. I could maybe still do this, I just think it may be a bit too similar to other videos I've done. Would you be okay if I decided to use this in the future? I don't know if I will, but just in case I feel I can make it work? If I do, I will credit you in the video of course.

As a teenager a friend and a friend referred to that noise ( at normal speed) as the "Sad Penis" noise (complete with a motion of sticking the index finger up then slowly drooping it to aforementioned noise).
