The boxing "skip step" or "gallop step" is often criticized by coaches and trainers as being dangerous, risky and in violation of key fundamentals. Here we talk about the risks, as well as why many (and we mean many) pros use the step and how to make use of it while avoiding key mistakes that... will get you killed. Or at least KOed smack out. Also, a few lateral movement and skip step drills will be featured in part two. Enjoy and be smart with it.
