00:02 Sorry, but I got that mixed up. You can only get B+ max with this cheat. Also: on a new save, you can only summon Djimmi three times until you finish the game. After that, you can use him an infinite number of times.
By finish the game do you mean beat the devil or the dlc final boss?

@@Stitches200X depends on which islands you want to use it on. Islands 1-3 require the devil being beaten while island 4 requires its final boss to be beaten

Fun Fact: If you die to djimmy in his final stage with his heath bonus instead of the normal quote he'd usually use, he says "You Foolish Cups Could Not Beat Me. Even With My Wishes 3."
You can only use it 3 times (since he’s a genie) before you beat the game, but after that it’s infinite. Also, you can only get a b+ max. And you have to beat a boss to get rid of it
so if i beat the devil the cheat is infinite???

If you beat a boss with the double HP and it won’t double your HP again, it’s because you have to summon Djimmi The Great every time you beat a boss to redo it.

i really like how they added a cheat code of sorts to this game since the difficulty was based off old video games which notoriously had cheats

Fun Fact: using this exploit can make your quest for the Divine Relic a little easier - normally you start at 1 HP with the Cursed Relic equipped, but Djimmi’s wish will still double it. It’s just one extra hit point, but it’s a nice little cushion and I absolutely abused it to get my Divine Relic. And it worked!
Also parrying will give 1 health

@@goatsfluffy8254 you can only go back to beginning once, and all the tiles you cleared remain cleared. So Heart Ring is the only way

After S Ranking all of the bosses (please don't ever try to do that), having 9 HP makes me feel immortal.

I had just went out of the Dice House in Isle 1 and just span around, since i just like doing that motion on a controller. And then summoned him and was incredibly confused.
So if you did the djimmi cheat, used the twin health charm and got all three of king dices health bonuses in his fight, could you potentially have 12 health

I would assume it caps at nine because with twin heart you have 5 so doubling it should give 10 but it gives 9

You don't have to use the built-in cheat system to get this achievement. The way to do it legitimately is to equip the parry ring, fight King Dice, and land on all the health ups while making sure to get six parries before finishing WITHOUT TAKING DAMAGE.

i don’t think anyone has pointed out that this could be a reference to the Game Genie, which is an old video game accessory for a lot of old video game consoles you used to input cheats
Waiiit. I'm pretty sure there's another way of getting 9 hearts. Fight king dice, get all 3 hearts he can give you, plus parry 6 times with the heart ring. (And don't get hit, of course.)
Using this cheat could give you up 10 hearts, right? I guess that's easier...
That's 9 hearts, you start with 3, parry ring can give you 3, and king dice can give you 3.

@@animarthur5297 Ah yeah if you up to 5 hearts then summon genie I guess you'd get 10 hearts. I tried using genie for the 9 hearts achievement though and it didn't pop for some reason even though I had 9 hp ...
Ended up just struggling through the King dice stage for a while until I got 9 hearts on that instead.
@@MrNintendeion I just realized that you can get 13 hearts by getting twin heart, the djimmi cheat, and then get all 3 hearts from kind dice. Didn't think of that before!

Well, even if I don’t need the DLC for this to work, I’m still gonna buy it along with the game. I just need to find someone willing to play this along with me in two-player mode. Don’t ask me why, I just like the idea of Cuphead and Mugman fighting by each other’s side.

It’s like playing new super Mario bros with all 4 characters, it just feels right. The story canonically has all 4 characters going on the adventure so it makes sense that for the complete experience to 100% the game with all 4. Trust me when I say, I fully understand what you mean
My 8 year old is terrible at games... and even with the extra health... I doubt she can win even one level... but... this at least will help... I'd prefer infinite health on beginner but for the time being.

btw if you are trying to get the hearty achivement and djimmi cheat dont work you can fight king dice with heart ring, parry 6 things and get all the bonus hearts. I'ts hard but it's possible (i did it this way and sorry for my bad english)
You know, seeing this is really upsetting because of the fact that I got the 9 hearts by equipping the Heart Ring and no hitting King Dice's level, which was probably the intended way

Fun fact: you can use this to help you get divine relic. It gets you 2 HP instead of 1 and after some parries you can get health
If you do it with the one extra heart you can get 8 health
There’s a bug in king dice section that you go back to normal health after 1 mini boss

Does the 9 hp stay with you till you use them up in a level, or is it 9 hp PER level, and you only get to use it on 3 bosses per every time you call him?
It stays with you until you defeat a boss/run and gun, after that it goes away so you have to summon him again to get it again, you only get to do it 3 times if you haven’t beaten the game but if you have you can do it as many times as you want

@@josealfredotorresmartinez8467 Oh ok, well 5 used to be the max amount but with the latest update you can summon djimmi by doing what the person did in the video, after you summon him you’ll get 9 hearts, after you beat a boss or run and gun with the 9 hearts, they will go away and you would have to summon him again in order to get it again, you can do this 3 times if you haven’t beaten the game but if you have then you can do it as many times as you want, also, after getting the heart boost from djimmi, you must keep on double heart charm for the full 9 hearts, if you instead equip a different charm, it will still give you an extra 3, which will lead you to having 6 hearts

If you will get all three hearths at casino will your hp increase to 12?
No because once u beat one of the mini bosses in the casino ur hearts are back to normal
With that cheat you can't do A+(max. B+)but you can defeat easily the bosses

I did this a few times and beat 3 or 4 bosses. I’m trying to do it again and now it’s not working and it just makes a sound when I run in circles.
Is the trophy for PS4 bugged? I get the 9HP with Twin Heart and Djimmi and can't seem to get the achievement to pop...

This isn't the first time I've done something, and it doesn't count it as an achievement for some reason? Maybe my game is glitching, but I had 9 HP from this, and didn't get the acknowledgment. Same thing happened when I defeated a boss with one of Ms. Chalice's Super Arts. Is anyone else running into a similar problem?

What if you use the astral relic with it will you get 10 hearts or only 9 still becuase you get every charm stacked on each other
The divine relic doesn't give you HP charms, so you only have 3HP with it.
If you use all wishes and then complete all bosses, do you not get the infinite one at the end? Because I accidentally used two and afraid i might waste them

why the hell does this not work for me, I've completed the game without ever needing djimmi, but everytime I try and attempt to summon him, he doesnt even spawn

I found out this Easter egg unintentionally, I was playing Cuphead and I was a bit bored to I just kept spinning and then I found out it was a Easter egg
Or u can just get the DLC get the charm which gives u hearts when u parry. Parry 9 times in the king dice boss fight now u have 6 hearts and get all 3 hearts on the king dice board which makes u have 9 hearts in total so if ur looking for a challange do it like this

So i randomly triggered this morning (Oct 17 22) and I was confused on how because I was just messing around in the overworld.

I remember trying this at king dice boss, it took off the 9hp after winning on 1st mini boss, i quit the game, i came back and at the end i defeated King dice w 5hp and going behind his hand when he pulls out cards, i tried to summon Dijimmi to get me 9hp to defeat Devil, but it didnt work, it’s like the game saved at any time, anywhere, i ended up defeating Devil no damage 1st phase, lost 3 hp at the end and won using charge gun

I used the cheat and the heart ring on Brineybeard and it didn’t give it to me for no reason
@@mikeykincaid7928 I was told that this was a bug and I was also told how to still get the Hearty achievement. I just got it yesterday. You have to summon Game Djimmi and equip the Twin Heart Charm, then enter the King Dice table on Regular difficulty. Fight one of the bosses and try to lose exactly 1 HP before defeating the boss. You should then have 5 HP left although it should be 8... Finally land on a space which gives you an additional heart before fighting the boss and you will get the achievement.
I'd imagine everyone discovered this on accident while screwing around on the map
I got the 9 hearts using king dice and one of the charms. Which just means... my goodness... depending on how it works... you could have 12 health.

Tbh I won’t do this while playing the dlc it will just ruin the toughness of a boss and make him easy which would just kill the fun

I thought the way to get 9 HP was to play the king dice fight.
You start with 3 HP
You get 3 HP from the board
You get 3 HP by parrying
I gotta admit, that HP cheat is kinda lame for the achievement
Me who had to go on the torture of getting the achievement in king dice:
I tried to activate this cheat multiple times but no matter what I do it won't activate and nothing pops up. Does anyone here know why? Is it because I had already finished the game on my save file before the update came out? If anyone knows please let me know because I'm genuinely stumped and am unable to activate it on any of my save files.
i activated this accidently with a friend. a surpise but a welcome one. i activated it on my solo run because i suck at run and gun. i misread what the genie said. i thought you can only do the cheat once per isle. so i was spinning around and activated it. now i feel like im cheating so whenever i play next and lose 3 hp times ill restart lol
