APRILIA RSV 1000 POWER COMMANDER WIRING REPAIR after a badly fitted Power commander.
followed with a paint correction this APRILIA RSV FACTORY looks at its best
Beautiful machine and she looks tip top now. The titanium Exhausts are mega. I have aluminium ones on my bike and your forever polishing them due to tarnishing, not a problem on yours!
I had Ali cans on my Rs250 use to get metal polish stuck in the rivets 😬 but they do look good with a nice shine
@@PXCBIKES rs250 is a great machine two, beautifully styled for the size of it. You have some collection. Do you plan to keep them all or do you sell some on?
A bit of both really we keep the low milage ones...
That bike looks lovely. Nice job... I need to have a look at my SRAD this weekend really, leaky carbs again!
Oh maybe the float bowl diaphragms..... 😬
Hi the reason for a power commander is to compensate for the after market pipes and free flow filter. The setup on the aprilia is rich in places and weak in others for rules and regs for differant country's. Soldering the wire isn't a good idear as the wire is now solid and will fracture at the end of the solder through movement and vibs. Nice tidy bike.
Hi mick it actually runs better without the power commander... They run very lean from factory as all bikes usually do... It is best to have a bike mapped and dyno tested when fitting aftermarket pipes but some pipes with a removable baffle will run OK just fitted... Soldering a damaged wire is the better option and will ensure a solid and integral connection... The crimp connectors that are supplied with the power commander are very poor and crimping wires this way will create future problems and high resistance eventually...
Sounds amazing 👌👍
IT DOES ....thanks for recording ...Man 🥳
This is my favorite color scheme of the RSV 1000 factory. I own a red Honda RC51 and it looks bland in comparison.
Great bike and others in the collection as well. How do you keep them so immaculately clean? Not just the fairings but the calipers, rims, swinging arm, frame etc.
Oh yes they are spotless I even dodge flies when I'm out lol..... It is such a great bike to ride and to look at.. Very impressive handling too... I do love rhe RC51 and its definitely on my list
Geiles Motorrad
Danke 👍
Man I’ve watched your videos on the aprilia rsv1000r and I have one as well and love it to death but I need help with a immobilizer bypass I had a key for it but it broke in the ignition so I bought another ignition and key for it but I just wanna bypass the immobilizer cause I’m using it for track anyway and is kinda pointless to use the immobilizer and a key when I can just a use a push button start on the track could you possibly help me and pm an email something please and thank you
Hello thank you for watching my videos 🤟... I can't really put on here how to disable the immobiliser it would be a good tip for bike thrives 👀.. But I haven't done it on an RSV so I wouldn't know...
But you can rewire the ignition circuit and could fuel pump etc so that it will fire up without the key etc...
if your bike doesn't shine, you're not doing it right ;)
That's correct.... Shiny bikes go faster 🍻👍
