I couldn't believe how rude people were being, when a) you looked gorgeous, and b) you were so happy with the results. I'm so glad you are recognizing that was undeserved, and I hope people understand better now after your explanation.
She should have explained they were for short hair and be cut as they didn't look good, they looked very obvious which is not the goal of extensions.
If you're to put something like this online, people are allowed to also have an opinion. They don't need to be rude but they can criticise.
I don't get how anyone needs to be mean on here. For god sake...we are talking HAIR, not world politics. This is suppose to educate and help for those doing stuff at home. And be fun and love! So I come here to give my eyes some peace and warmth, cos she is a beautiful woman with the most transformative hair and it just is satisfying to watch.
Something I do regret that I started reading and writing comments😂😅 So many unhappy and angry suffering people out there that just throw out their toxic waste onto youtubers... So sad and totally not ok.

No one is allowed opinions anymore, because people have heart failure if you say you don't like something, I grew up in the early ninedies we survived someone sayings something critical, I once dyed my hair black after it was bleached blonde no one liked it but life went on and I survive...we didn't get triggered like this back then I didn't see any hate comments btw I saw people wondering why the extensions came out like that.
@@jenniferallen2234 I agree people can criticise and have an opinion IF they are well made constructive criticism made to HELP and not a guise to blantly hate and harass someone for their looks and talent like most of the people here do recently. Stella actually talked about this in a prior video and most of those people completely ignored it. I saw people who had genuine feedback and insights about this and sothers who just hate stella regardless what she did 💀
I don't dismiss what you said but the thing is most of the people out here are just aggresively saying they hate stella for being boring, basic, wasteful and dumb during this whole extension situation and honestly when she cut her hair short💁♂️

Same i have my hair so fried and I never thought I could get extensions in the too of my head cause hair is so short there just like Stella's pixie, but omg the stylist made literally magic i wish I could get extensions like those

I feel awful that they are giving hate to the hairdresser, who did absolutely nothing wrong! Of course any kind of extensions are going to look off when there is such a huge length difference! He couldn’t have blended them any better. His technique was beautiful and I’m so glad you defended him! Keep making amazing content for us!

Now that its cut the extensions look SO good and that explains the placement. I always thought it looked good (you had so short hair i never expected them to look 100% like a real haircut) but these blend in so well now.

When something doesn’t come out as you expected, sometimes it still looks great. And that’s such a good way of looking at things because so many of us can be discouraged by these minor setbacks and never try again because failure sucks, instead of looking at the happily little accidents.

I don't understand people. Why do they have to make such negative comments. Know that it's them, not you. There are always people whose lives are so empty they have to tear others down for no reason. Try and ignore them (easier said than done). I watch your videos because they are interesting and you are clearly very experimental with your hair which is why we watch. I can relate to you on so many things. I live vicariously through you, having your own salon, trying new things on your own hair bc not everyone can handle unexpected results, etc. The thing that stands out to me that some people fail to see is your positivity & genuine love for what you do. You taught me that there's beauty in everything especially the journey. Throughout your channel, all I see is positivity, courage, curiosity, passion & simply having fun while doing what you love. You haven't faked a single thing, you are literally sacrificing your hair to show us different looks. Also, I love this look!! I do have an idea that may be cool, you could try a hair topper! It could be cool to cover the short hair and show people how. I saw a lady who had a pixie and he also had a halo extension and hair topper for when she wanted a longer look. It was so cool.
constructive criticism is way different then just being rude. i dont think many people get that. i actually loved the extensions. i love the new cut. i also love your genuine happiness. i dont see fake enthusiasm. ive actually become very inspired by your videos since i never have the same hair color, and i just discovered temp hair color. its amazing!

I literally said in your last video that people had NO clue what you had plans for when you got these extensions and if they were bothered oh so damn badly about it - they could leave til you did something else. None of the comments were helpful or constructive on any level because they did not have all the information.. while you didn’t fully outright say it - it was obvious you were just having fun with the extensions until you decided to do what you really wanted (which if people patiently waited and enjoyed your videos for what they are, now we have this video!).. it annoyed me so much because this channel is meant to be fun and inspiring and people just literally had fun tearing you down, along with the person who did the extensions. Anyways, I’ll finish the rest of the video now - I’m very excited to see how this turns out!

I thought the extentions looked a bit sparse before cut, but your explanation makes sense and they look much better in a bob. I'd be interested to see the color touch up. I like 2 tone hair but it does exaggerate the line between natural hair and extentions. I'm not sure what the hate was about or why people are taking what you do with your hair so personally. Of the hundreds of styles you've tried, obviously not all of them will be for everyone.
Stella you are authentic that comes across in every video, pay no attention to people who dont understand how it feels to enjoy the creative process and cannot help but criticise themselves and others throughout. Their rediculous comment is only a reflection of them not your work ✨️

As a hairstylist, I really appreciate your explanation, I was wondering why he didnt tried to blend the extentions to your real hair! But even at first, I thougt he did a GREAT job with the application!! Totally understable that if you wanted to cut them yourself, he would'nt have to cut them at all!

When she was talking I was thinking thissss!! In my head I’m like but why didn’t you say something in the original video? She could’ve edited something in or when she was coloring them in the last video said I forgot to mention in my last video i plan on cutting them. The issue was until l this vid she left her audience in the dark and made people feel as if she either didn’t realize they didn’t look right and or the guy didn’t do a very good job at applying them or that she was being fake and that’s not fair to the guy or the audience.
one word to that person; jealously! She's is not jealous of your fame or channel but of your skills and flexibility which allows you to fix whatever mess happened with your hair so that you're happy with the result in the end. By the way, it's your skills that I copy when I'm having a bad hair day, which helps a lot. That's way I'm watchin your channel 🙂
in all honesty, i keep following you *because* of your excitement. especially the excitement from unexpected results. for me, thats relatable. because YES! we've all gotten results we didnt plan for, but sometimes we still love those results! it took me 2 years to get a specific hair color i wanted, but it was so worth it to keep trying because my "failed" colors were so pretty i felt beautiful even through the "failures"
not every unexpected result is something worth crying over. i relate to that attitude and it helps me maintain my own positivity. dont let anyone shame you for being positive, its a dying trait in a lot of people and we need as much positivity as we can get 💞

I didn't see hate comments I saw people criticiquing the extensions but not hate comments that's a bit of a stretch like if someone showed me their jeans and I said they didn't look good should I just lie to make the person feel better that's so weird imo...I wouldn't lie to the person no matter what I would tell them if they were my friend hey they don't look too good.
@jazprahblackcrowfeathers3… there were hate comments under many of those critiques you saw. Even so, Stella is well aware of how her hair looks so the only reason to give that much critique is to make her feel bad for not having her hair how others want it.

@@j.m.9796 if you saw hate comments fine but I'm saying I didn't see any maybe I missed them or maybe I didn't read them I'm just saying people were pointing out that the extensions didn't look good, I didn't think that would be considered a hate comment, my friend has told me he didn't like the color of my hair I never thought that was a hate comment, I guess I'm from a different generation that doesn't get offended or triggered so easily I grew up in the early ninedies..I guess this generation is very sensitive to any criticism it seems, I will be honest with friends because when people ask me if something looks good I don't lie to them I tell the truth because I think that's what friends do.
People were unnecessarily rude. Giving a little bit more of the thought behind the extensions, even just saying that you have a fun haircut in mind for them, would’ve protected both yourself and the stylist from *some* of the hate but that’s by no means justifying the comments. Plus there will always be negative comments sadly.
That said, it blends in beautifully now and I’m glad to see you looking genuinely happy!

Tbh Stella you are an absolutely BEAUTIFUL woman who can pull off literally ANY hair style color or cut! With that being said I have been a follower of your for a long time and seen many transformations and your reaction to each one is simply positive! You try different shades and mixtures and experiments I have heard you say many time that it didn't come out how you wanted but what are you supposed to do bust out in tears and throw a fit if you don't like it. Being in the public eye you handle it the way you should with positivity. You look at it glass half full and I love that about you. You make light of a bad situation and I must say it doesn't happen often bc you are very good at what you do. Negative Nancy's will be negative so let them you know you and those who follow you know you too and we support you. I know this is a struggle for most of us....but please don't let the comments, opinions and words of others affect how you feel about what you do or how you see yourself or what you do. You always bring joy and understanding to my day by just being you 💚💚..Maybe your partner can pick out some nice comments and share them with you...I live everyday with a negative internal dialogue , given to me by others ...I understand not wanting to bring that into your life.
As a long time follower, I think what some subscribers have noticed is a growing lack of confidence in yourself. You feel too pressured to constantly come up with new hair trends/the next big thing in hair. I’ve always enjoyed just watching the simple process of your experimentation
It's not the extensions that were bad, it's not the installation that was bad, It's the way that you blended the extensions into your natural hair. You can still see it here, they do not blend at all. Again that's not me being rude It is just giving my opinion/ critique Just because my opinion/ critique is not positive doesn't mean that it's rude.
What do you do to your hair is art and so you have to expect people to critique that. Nobody is perfect, everybody's opinions are going to be different.

I saw some of the comments on your last few video, and I’m glad you gracefully addressed them. I’ve watched your videos for years and always say that you’re experimenting and don’t really care too much about the final results.

Every time I see people cut long human hair extensions so drastically short my heart cries for the poor people who spent 5+ years growing their hair out as healthily as possible to donate it

@@user-wr9xm4zq2r doesn't really change my opinion to be honest. There are shorter wigs/hair extensions available, if the plan is to cut them short I just don't see why you would waste such long hair since human hair is a scarce resource.

The mean comments are not only rude, they are genuinely tone deaf. You are a licenced and trained hairdresser for pity's sakes, you are always going somewhere with your content, and even if it doesnt turn out perfect, you have said numerous times that it's about the journey, and that you love to experiment. I swear, the audacity of some people.

I think a bad comment is the same as having someone tell you something negative or criticize you… like as humans, we will remember that one critic on ourself vs someone telling us something positive.

It's funny how people are negative towards your excitement for your hair. I aspire to be just like you, and I, too, get really excited when I get a haircut or when I change my hair color. People are unhinged!

On another note this type of videos help me to know and recognice how to hold my hair when I cut it myself in a short bob. Mostly the back that is more dificult. So thank you honestly. You have always been hones when you like or don't like the outcome and if you don't read the comments or just a few ,that is ok. Soc med, is extremely draining. So as long as you enjoy it and you are happy, your health and happiness comes 1st.🧡😘
I've had long hair (to my knees) and cut it off to a pixie cut. It is to the middle of my back now. It is just hair it grows back. I think you look great with long and short hair.

The thing is that you didn't explain your plans on the video so people thought you didn't notice and feel the need to point it out. Of course that doesn't excuse mean comments, but maybe next time be a bit more vocal about what you really think about a look and your plans for it in the future. Otherwise people are going to fill in the gaps.

I know you said you don't like reading comments....but just in case you do....I love your channel because you are so positive and because even if you get a hair outcome that you originally didn't plan for, you still embrace it and it always still turns out stunning. To me that is so amazing because let me tell you how many times I was so upset when my hair didn't turn out how I had envisioned.....you've definitely shown me to embrace it more because getting upset about it doesn't help the situation! Plus people commening negative things probably can't even do hair anywhere close to as amazing as you can do!!! It’s so crazy the amount of difference an inch or so of length makes. When you have it cut to your shoulders, I agree it looks a little boring and almost child-like (but you still look beautiful because OBVIOUSLY). But as soon as you lose that extra bit of length, it immediately looks stUNNING and elegant! 🩵

As someone who had a pixie and desperately wanted extensions for so long, I thought yours looked beautiful. People don’t understand how EXTREMELY hard it is to put in extensions to such short haircuts. I loved them long on and I love them short on you. They did a wonderful job and so did you. I’m so sorry to anyone affected by those comments, I also thought they were very unnecessarily rude.
