Castellina is dear to my heart. I visited here for the first time, twice, with Judy Francini Witts in2005, and since then, I visit each time I go to Italy. I cried during this video as I have such fond memories there with my friends and family. I’m super excited to return next year on my 60th. Thank you for this video

Enjoy your "real" videos! My husband surprised me with a booked and paid for trip to Italy (my dream) in March/April. I am so very happy that we traveled so early in the season as we saw a little more "real" Italy! It surpassed all my expectations!! We stayed in Umbria, Furore, and Rome and it was amazing. Would love to come back and see more of Tuscany, Le Marche and Northern Italy .... but then there's South Italy.... hard to decide!!

Yes I think coming off season has huge advantages even though every season has its advantages. I hope you get to come back and do some more exploring one day…

    Hi Rebecca
I’m loving your videos and am very impressed with your Italian!
I caught the bus from Siena to Radda in Chianti (my suitcase flew across the floor driving fast around the windy bends). We stopped at Castellina and I would like to have visited the large winery @kylieflavell made a video about. But I found Volpaia instead!!
You are in the most beautiful region and I’m excited to follow each and every video. Please know that they are special to those of us who are exhausted from working - teaching in my case - and we relax watching our favourite places through you.
    Buy a portable fan?!
I travel in winter in January when we have school holidays so my issue is more about lugging a suitcase around with jumpers and other warm clothes which weren’t necessary in January! xxx 😊

Oh wow thanks so much for your lovely comment. One of my favorite times is January, yet many of the smaller towns are a bit dead that time of year. Love Volpaia - did a video a few years ago with the owner, Giovannella ;)

@@lifeisgrapeintuscany If you ever need any ideas for videos - I’d love to see Greve in Chianti, the whole place which I never got to visit. Parma. My Google maps is dotted with ideas. Borgos, costellos and wine resorts near you.

I loved your video about Radda but would like to have had an interview with the Porchetti man from the alimentari.
In Firenze- Vivoli and Cafe Gilli.
      Thermal spas.
      Todi, Umbrian towns.
I’d love to see it all.
