@@EssentialRC I've watched his comment several times now & can detect nothing other than, "Interview over - now get out of my face!" When you say "Obviously", I'm curious to know what you meant. (All that notwithstanding, incredible model, & well flown.)
Very remarkable miniaturized technology which appears to work very well on this "reduced size" (1:8) F35 aircraft. Furthermore the aircraft speed seems high (how much ?). Very promising technology. Congratulations and many thanks.
Nice model and great flying ! I keep hoping that Freewing or FMS will release a 70, 80, or 90mm EDF F-35 model with suspension retracts. An F-35B version with VTOL would be a trip ! Probably way too costly though.
I just got home from an air show that demonstrated the F-35. It's funny the first year the F-35 flies they announce that the show will only be every other year. Maybe if they hadn't blown their wad on one size fits all super duper multi role aircraft they could afford the JP8 for the rest of the fleet...
I always find it really funny when someone like that doesn't know anything about the F-35 or any other military aircraft act as if you know what you're talking about lol. Considering how advanced and awesome the F-35 really is, plus the fact that designing and building ANY new aircraft comes with many issues, the F-35 has turned out to even better and more capable than anyone could have imagined. All the "bugs" you are talking about are been fixed and the F-35 is now fully operational. Only an idiot would think that building the most advanced aircraft every made would be easy and not have any bugs at the beginning.
@@mississippirebel1409 I was cynical man. Reboot your sense of humor. I know how hard it is to get such a complex system to the air and tuning it to work nominally. I do have my share of criticism on the project management and risk mitigation. Lockheed Martin built this project in a way that no one can shut it down. The huge US workforce working and building the machines and also the international partners that it may be pissed off if closed. The original budget it way off, time frame is a decade off. Lockheed Martin knows this is the last huge project they will get from the US government and this is why they have no problem not hitting any milestone of the project (including specs).
You do realize that when they came out with cost of the project for it's ENTIRE life time, that includes fuel, maintenance, upgrades and everything else you can think of. That was a first for ANY military aircraft and that is why people say it cost so much. But in reality it is cheaper than keeping and maintaining the older fleet of F-18 and F-16's. What people don't realize and want to cry about is how much it cost. The F-35 per aircraft cost less than the Rafale and Typhoon but is MUCH more capable and advanced. It's a very good thing they didn't shut down the F-35 program. When building a higly advanced and capable aircraft like the F-35 is going to take a lot of money and isn't going to be easy, but some people don't like the thought of that. Lastly the F-35 program has actually been pretty successful considering how difficult it is to produce an aircraft of this caliber. It is one of the safest aircraft ever built. There isn't really any reason why anyone should have doubts about the F-35 at this time because it has already proven, over and over just how good it really is. It is actually so good that they are trying to figure out new ways to use it because it is so capable.
@@mississippirebel1409MississippiRebel you're comments are a rare find these days - you actually reason them - kudos. I think that the F-15 silent eagle is also more expensive (on paper) and the F-35 is way cheaper than the F-22 in terms of price and maintenance.
Thanks I try to back up what I say with facts. I don't consider myself an expert when it comes to military aviation even though I spent 11 yrs in the US army (2000-2011). But I trust what my older brother tells because he is a F-15E pilot. My younger brother is also still in the US army. Yea I don't know what to think of the F-15 Silent Eagle. Honestly I would rather just see more F-35's built even though I am HUGE F-15 fan. In order to make the F-15 silent worth the price they would have to build and buy a lot of them. That what happened with the F-22. The reason why they cost so much per aircraft ($150 million) is because we only bought 190 instead of the 700 we were orginally suppose to purchase.
Wow, my man, I wish I could have all the fun you do flying all those really cool Jets you got. But I'm cool with getting to watch The fun you're having. I just thought of something. Do you ever do dog fights? I like that F-35 against that Russian jet? That would be so cool. Or get 2 Blue Angels and have them do those opposing passes.
I'm not a pilot, however I have a question. How similar are the flight characteristics between the model and the actual aircraft. Besides power to weight ratio does this aircraft behave in a similar fashion to The original?
I don't know to be honest. I've not flown the full size so can't compare. Aspiration to do that but I think it's unlikely as I don't have private pilot's licence and actually don't much like heights.
Gareth Fox the motor could probably operate at a really high altitude. The reason it can’t is because of battery life/fuel (can’t remember what this model flies with) to get up there and the transmitter/receiver range.
@@Paul0088 When the airplane passes by it does not sound like a jet engine Doppler effect, the jet noise pretty much sounds consistent no matter how close or far away the airplane is. Watch for another video and compare them.
@@Paul0088 From 4:20 seconds for about a minute is when you can really tell the noise is consistent no matter how close or far away or direction of travel the plane is flying, then when it lands the jet engine has the same consistent noise, it doesn't spool down after he lands and the noise doesn't change when it makes the turn.
If it doesn't VTOL like the real then it's shite. Landing gear is not to scale. Paint scheme is not scale. F-35's don't have that much white around the hatches. Flies like everything else out there, nothing special. My F-35 actually hovers and can transition to forward flight, and I spent a 3rd of what this guy spent.

THAT IS SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!
A great airframe, good control and awesome power and speed. Loved the fly by's.....Nice camera as always Dom!
Stunning Plane, Stunning Flight.
Congrats for the hard work! The RC Jet looks very realistic.
This plane looks and sounds AWESOME, Two thumbs up.
That's a hell of a thing, bravo!!
Mr Dom A Long time it's been!!
Nothing much has changed WOW all I can say! Cheers for America
Good to have you back Charles !
"That's about all you need to know." That's the first time I've seen a plane owner totally blow someone off. I wonder what he does for fun?
It wasn't meant the way you think. Obviously. Why do people always think the worst.

Taking it out of context...the phrase here means the same as something like, "need i say more"
You're too daft to get the humour of it.
Just didn’t want to talk about all the gyros I guess. 😂
Beautiful plane, excellent pilot!
Awesome,nice jet
Wow!!! Fantastic jet!!!!
That is one of the most awesome things I've seen. Great job! Wonder if you could fly it in the Mach Loop.

great jet
good video!
I thought modern jet fighters are built to be inherently unstable and only fly due to the help of computers? Looks stable to me! Nice one
Component placement in the RC model can move the CG to a "stable" location, compared to the actual A/C...
NICE
That toy is so cute
To make this a real F-35 scale model you must also simulate all the hardware and software bugs :-) . This is one fine looking model!!!

How do you attach smoke to your rc jet anybody help ?
is it made from foam or balsa?
Neither. It's composite, like most turbine powered RC jets.
