This is probably the only belt that would seem like a fair break away from the shaw belt at the $200+ price point if that's it's cost, after using the shaw belt, bluealphas and a few other it's pretty hard to ignore how good Shaw's is and how same most 2 piece belts are so it's nice to see small but real impactful changes. Hopefully its not to pricey so it becomes the best option for the average guy/marine/soldier
I've seen another belt with MOLLE set up that way, but it was sewn by Ordnance tactical, a local sew shop on Okinawa. No way to order it except for walk in and buy one but they always looked like excellent belts
I like the idea of horizontal mounting with malice clips as it offers additional options. I checked the website and it is under construction, so no sales yet.
I was going to comment the same thing. The Volund belt is really good - very thick and rigid. I never really found a use for the horizontal mounting myself.
@@riflemanm16a2 Same. Thought about putting a tourniquet pouch horizontally but it takes up a ton of real estate, especially when I can put a TQ on the front of my holster and save that belt space for cuffs and OC.
Fantastic product.
John is a standup guy.

Surgical fishing forceps have been my go to and savior for decades in regards to manipulating the belt to attach items to belts

Volund's Micro Battle Belt also allows for horizontal mounting of pouches.

definitely my new favorite belt
This + bang hanger looks like a perfect match. BTW, moonlighting at McD's?
Worked there for a long time
Funny enough I've been looking for a m320 holster and the only real option I've seen is s&s precisions
BFG also has one worth looking at as well as SOTECH I believe.
What is the stiffest belt you have tested?
I’m fairly certain it is this one.
