Hey Kosmo! I’d like to have that same hat that your wearing in this video to represent. I’ve enjoyed your seasoning products so much for about four years now. Wanting to try your new seasonings, sauces and more. Great video as always. I own the master built 560 and freaking love it. It replaced three of my other charcoal grills. It’s an all in one for sure. Last but certainly not least, welcome back Wes! 🎉 I learned how to cook from my grandma when I was about nine years old. Got fourth place in a chilly cook off contest at 12. I only use charcoal bc I mean come on. Lol. Ever since I’ve been using your products and methods, it has taken me to a whole other level. Friends and family can’t compete. Lol. Thank you for all that you do and have taught me over the years. Keep everything your doing coming. I need to get some grill racks for my 560. ✌🏻
Kosmos 100% right! I learned how to grill from him and I’ll tell you what I definitely stay away from steak houses now. Every time I go to one they’re no where as good as the way Kosmo teaches with his seasonings. Thank you Kosmo! 🍻
I totally agree, I only go to ethnic restaurants, like Lebanese, Cajun, Italian, Jamaican, or maybe the local bar for apps, or greasy burger etc. If I want a steak, I cook it at home on the Webber Kettle!
Awesome info as always Kosmo!!! Had a question? I’ve always added the butter at end like you suggested. Have you ever done rendered bacon fat? I’m wondering if that would be success or a bust. Just curious. Thanks again for the great video 👍🔥🔥🔥👍😎
I’m confused. @ 3:06 you stated you used Cow Cover and Dirty Bird Hot. Is that correct? I have the Cow Cover (HOT). Saturday 7-1-2023, I purchased 3 more perfect 1-1/2” thick Ribeye’s. I rubbed a tiny bit of olive oil all over then a light coat of Hawaiian salt and pepper all over, then completely covered the steak with you fantastic Cow Cover Hot. They came out perfect and delicious. Thanks
Awesome!! Can't get those grill marks like that on a gas grill...sorta can..maybe im doing it wrong..but they always come out great! I do have a weber kettle but still do the same shit like i do on gas lol!!! I guess im to busy drinking beer and not concentrating for the grill mark perfection!
Give this a try - 1. Place steak on grate, cook for 1 minute 20 seconds 2. Flip completely over, cook for 1 minute 20 seconds 3. Rotate same side 90°, cook for 1 minute 20 seconds 4. Flip completely over, cook for 1 minute 20 seconds Cook for longer if you like your steak above medium rare/medium 👊🏼💥
Im surprised it wasnt more red inside for only 1:20 per flip. I used to do 2min per flip but was cooking it to medium. I'm going to try 1:20 next time but I guess it all depends on thickness too
Man I do it kinda like that but I just dont like those grill grate marks. Cooked 100s of steaks too. Sometimes I sear em on the flat side of the grill grate then move em indirect to finish. Maybe im weird... just don't dig the black grill grate marks.
Kosmo, another great video. Your rubs are all fantastic. We have pretty much your entire line. Plus, you're our go to guy for our Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys. I have to say, that sweet honey pecan.... WOW. I keep opening it and sniffing it when I walk through the kitchen. Haven't used it yet but I hope I don't sniff all the flavor out of it!
Thanks for sharing trade your cow cover from the Walmart. It's the real deal absolutely love it. The steaks in this video for me or just way too thin and that's why they kind of over cooked a bit. I won't buy a steak unless it's over 1,1/4" thick.

Great video Kosmo. Thank you for all of your instructional videos. They've helped me a ton over the years.

Great to hear!

Brisket Mop is no joke!
Not a fan of Jaccard or marinade for comp steaks?
Awesome info as always Kosmo!!! Had a question? I’ve always added the butter at end like you suggested. Have you ever done rendered bacon fat? I’m wondering if that would be success or a bust. Just curious. Thanks again for the great video 👍🔥🔥🔥👍😎
Never tried that, but it could be great! Let us know how it turns out if you decide to try it
All I can say is Thank you!!!! My steaks are on a whole new level now.
Appreciate you 👊🏼💥

Always looks great!! Did you pull it at 114, and Did it rest up to the 127 you were shootin for? Thanks for the vid! Love your products man!
Correct!
So what’s different between this and part 1 and part 2 ?
It's part 3 😂
@@KosmosQ aight. I’ll eagerly await part 4 and watch it cooked the exact same way lol.
No worries about the seasonings/spices burning on the steak during the grilling?
Nope

I also use the flat side of my grill grates.. I think there is more of a maillard with better flavor..
Nah, you do it how you want 👊🏼💥 that's the beauty of bbq
@@jasongleason6252 I agree
I use Cow cover hot and SPG on mine and I can beat any restaurant around easy. Thanks Kosmo :)
Appreciate you 👊🏼💥

AMAZING RIBEYE STEAKS LOOKS GOOD 👍👍
Appreciate you 👊🏼💥
Looks killer 🔥🔥
Appreciate you 👊🏼💥
It's pretty insulting the kind of steaks you get at restaurants once you've learned how to cook your own.
Couldn't agree more!
The only place I’ve ever been who can make a steak as good as me is Ruth’s Chris I know it’s a chain but they make a damn good steak
@@LytechCODyes but your going to spend at least $40 more at Ruth’s than making it at home

Glad you're liking Cow Cover
whats your best thickness of steak??
Usually try to do 1.25 inch or so
My HomePod mini had at least 5 timers running at the end of this video.
Whoops lol
Awesome!
👊🏼💥
I did buy your cow cover at Walmart. Was hesitant on the dirty bird but I guess I’ll get that to
It's awesome!
I thought I was the only one that kept saying hey Siri send a timer😂 my wife was laughing at me
Nope 😂 it’s just so convenient
My watch set a timer twice while watching this video
Hahah whoops 😂
Why don’t u have meat sponsers?
We've worked with some other companies before and would again. But we also like to show people what they can do at home without a sponsorship
I will never eat out again period, at the prices they charge now
👊🏼💥
In the world of smart homes please edit your audio to mute or remove “Hey Siri” I had to shut my HomePods up 4 different times watching this 😂
Whoops lol
You are the steak King Bud! You Sucka's out there pay attention!
Appreciate you 👊🏼💥
That steak shrank
Dirty bird and cow cover is all I use on my steaks, my wife don’t like any other seasoning on hers.
That's awesome! Appreciate you 👊🏼💥
Considering cooking or basically any work in the kitchen is a women’s job, this guy should get even more credits. Well done man!
Thanks, I think? 😂
That’s an over cooked ribeye
That was just the lighting! I’m sure it was perfect Med Rare 😊
