I'm pretty bad at this game, so I fly around on Rhamp a lot just buffing people I like & annoying those I don't ;P but your videos always inspire me to play my Rex & help me more than any other videos in actually learning how to play the dinos because of your detailed breakdowns. :) Would not mind dying to you at all because at least I know you're not being toxic about it on the other end, & I might even pick up some pointers on what I did wrong if it ended up in a video. :P Keep up the awesome content bro, we need more like you in PoT!

Now, it WAS a good fight. But this just confirms we need a dynamic movement overhaul to evade or feint attacks. When equal dinos square off and face tank each other, the winner is almost always one shot.

Spino has the same cw as rex, but has 200 more health and access to 30% bonus armor depending on the build. Its stomp will still do 120 dmg to a rex because they share the same cw.
Tyrannosaurus is in need of an update. The new bone break mechanic pretty much renders it useless, you can only kill Eotriceratops, other T.rexes and some dlc, everything else just runs away. I hate it when they do stupid stuff like this.
Honestly I think it's going to make playing Rex almost impossible. I do think that bone break changes is good for things like ano and dasp, but on a Dino like the Rex you have very few opportunities to land a bone break on a smaller Dino to start with. So I think this is a bad change myself
@ambush501st agreed. When I heard bout cause I solo rex, I thought well that's gonna stuff up everything. They will need to buff him in some way cause the so called tyrant lizard is now becoming a softie. The trex Might as well be a herbivore lol
@ Yes. Mainly for Daspleto. Every carnivore tail attack does significant knockback and light damage of five. Eotrike got significant health buff. New critters - Bagaceratops and Silemesaurus have been released. New foliage is present in the game. First sign that every foliage will change as we get closer to an upcoming foliage update.
The enemy rex can just shove its head/body into your rex, neglecting the effect of your face tank. So it's almost useless. I still run it because it might matter for the first hit. I dont count on enemy dinos to be stupid for the bone break one. So i just stick with face tank + normal bite.
So for the Rex 1v1 I think if you can manipulate where you get hit then face tank is fine. But to be honest the fight I 9 times outta ten lost in the first few seconds. The best way to get ti advantage is to work on your range of engagement and to get the timing down of when to hit the deep rumble and push before you opponent can get his defense up. Also in doing this you can get countered if the opposing Rex bone breaks you then you would need to bone break back to hold him there if he tried to run. But the best advice I can give you is practice lol
@@ambush501st I have won every rex 1v1 so far however now that I have came back to Path of titans from over a year there are new abilities so Ty for the advice I'll deep rumble as soon as I see a rex being aggressive

Bone break just allow s you to have more options in fights and give you kill and hunting opportunities by bone breaking smaller faster dinos
