Why am I not hearing this song on my local country station? This recording with just voice and guitar is perfect; and delivers more muscle and emotion than most of the over-produced, over-polished power pop country I'm hearing. The "30 degrees (Celsius)" line cracks me up! ...I'm American, but lived 9 years in Europe, so I know that's hot :)

Another good one Hailey, nice job on the lyrics, great story line, relatable, had me "seeing" the scene you describe in the story. Put up a lyric version. You should consider doing that with all of your originals to insure those hearing it get the story as you intend it. Your vocals continue to mature as well. Nice!
