The client had determined that she never used her jetted soaker tub and wanted it removed. Instead, she wanted to make a large walk-in shower. We replaced all the plumbing behind the shower to ensure a water-tight seal. After this step, we had to leave the plumbing exposed for a short period in order to pass city inspections. After that, we could get to work on the tile in the wet area. You’ll see the tarp covering the base along with a bucket of plastic spacers in the last photo. This finished bathroom is phenomenal! You’ll notice we added a second linen closet on the other side of the shower with pull out drawers for easy access. Inside the new shower, we have two niches for storage. The smaller one at the bottom is actually a shaving niche, which our customers who shave their legs love!
