So what I did was when he mentioned Big Bug on Netflix, I immediately went and watched the movie to see what it’s about, before actually waiting to hear NL’s full sentence where he talks about how shit it truly is.
so was it shit?
What did you think? Because I watched it last week and I didn't think it was terrible. I like the sci fi ideas it wrestled with, but I have to agree with one reviewers account that it felt like the director just got given too much money and tried to jam too much into their one film.

Theres a way to beat the Grim Reaper at the end to unlock a secret character. Kinda hard to pull off but would make sum juicy content. Many people are saying do this
If anybodys wondering how you gotta use a certain character & camp the whole game without leveling up because enemies dont get stronger until you level up. Including the Grim Reaper. Eventually all you're exp will turn to a red Ruby that gives you like 100 lvls that you collect after the Grim Reaper spawms. You also need Clock Lancet, Runetracer, Empty Tomb & preferably Evolved Knife

The idea of beating a reaper is cool but the actual content would be garbage. Just standing still and doing nothing for 30 minutes. NL would never do that
Is there actually a secret character attached or is this one of those "you can totally move the truck to get Mew" situations?
14:38 Actually today I played Vampire Survivors and I found out that they added a bunch of new things. One of them it's a "Curse" Power up, wich increases the difficulty dramatically with every point you buy. New characters, and of course you unlock things by surviving with at least 1 curse point. The "Curse" points increses the speed, health, quantity and frecuency of enemies by 10% per point (max 50%), it's a nightmare.
A simplified version of the heat system from Hades isn't the worst choice for this game in my opinion

I know this comment is long dead, but NL died with 5 evolved weapons. Just started playing about a week ago and it's crazy how much the game has changed

@@joeyondakeysit's something I take if I have an extra trinket slot on a +projectile build, cd/aoe la borra build, or with something like a perma/upgraded bible for knockback. but i'd take many other options over an upgraded cross for sure

Also, hardly anyone cares for sports which can be summarized with "X millionaires share a piece of rubber" - my headcanon is that a "quarterback" is just an evolved Nickelback.
The reason you never lose is because you have duplicator from the git-go. To make it more difficult they could add something like Hade's punishment pacts
Two things:
1. The chef is holding a tray of fried chicken because that is Kentucky.
2. Fully agree on waffle v pancakes. Waffles are always good, but I think I've had better pancakes. But I've also had much WORSE pancakes.
See now that's the argument I can get behind. I have had much higher highs with pancakes than I've ever had with waffles. But I've had lower lows too. The only waffles to ever come close were these potato waffles I had in Dublin that were just delicious. Crunchy and fluffy on the inside with a little hint of butter.
I was gonna make the whole argument that NL will never see that I like pancakes more than waffles and I went to Argentina and Antarctica just a couple months ago but if it's distilled this way, I get it. I still like Pancakes vs Waffles though. I'll take the gamble.
And then the whole MIMAL discussion, what the hell man? Chef holding the tray of Kentucky Fried Chicken is all I see.

Re: bobsled tracks, there are different starting points at different lengths of track. The less distance you travel the less speed you gain I think?

Haven’t watched much of this series but it seems like new isaac. Basically he ignores the game entirely while he talks about life and things that interest him. Not complaining just interesting.
I've thought this and hoped this about so many games over the years. that maybe THIS could be the new game he talks over. sadly every day I see a new Isaac video come out. they never end.

Idea for making the game more difficult:
Add bonuses ( and maybe secret weapons/characters) for limiting yourself in terms of the amount of items you can have. Beating hyper mad forest with 4 weapon slots instead of 6 unlocking a character like mortaccio with a bow for example that fires piercing shots
Or more complex environments with all ghost-like enemies that ignore obstacles
Perfect I needed something to watch while smoke weed, pre-nap, you know how it is and all that

So for ski jumping, you just kinda start skiing then accidentally hit one, if you land it you become an addicted chosen one, and if u fall you get a permanent slight fear. Sorry I don't the rules.

You said 1:12 had only been achieved by a couple people, EGG it only had been achieved by one person. That's why he says "Me and Marc Rutzou" he tied Marc's untied. Untied slays are extremely hype in the GE community and to skip straight to an untied or WR is always exciting. Seems like there's a lot more seemingly obvious things for you to parse by paying more attention to what he says, it's adrenaline filled but it makes sense. In fact Marc was critiquing Lockwood's lines before the tie and that's why Lockwood says "LOOK AT THE FUCKING LINE I TAKE" it's pretty hilarious and epic for sure.
They should take a note from Hopoo Games, they amde Risk of Rain which was dope, and for Risk of Rain 2, they went 3D. Totally changed the game, elevated it to indescribable heights. Immaculate gameplay loop.

In defense of the Austin Powers movies, or at least the second one, I think they call that "riffing" when you redo a joke, but a little bit different. So if you just think of the whole thing as a riff on the spy who shagged me, it makes a lot more sense.

When he was suggesting you auto-win with just a couple evolved weapons I was thinking "he's out of his mind." I do agree with him that it's an interesting design question, though I think making the game more difficult would just exacerbate the pre-existing win condition issues, that you really do need to get certain items and/or farm consumables to chain-use in the last minute of the run

I do think the current stages are very easy with even just or two evolved weapons, let alone a full bar of them which is easy enough to get with even moderate luck. That being said I don't see that as an issue, presumably they are going to add more levels eventually and can thus just make those more difficult while leaving the current ones more or less as they are. Aside from just upping the stats on everything they can also do things like giving enemies more interesting attack patterns or putting in damaging obstacles, both of which would require paying more attention to how you move over just getting better gear.
As an American, I'm ashamed to say I just learned about Chef mimal from a Canadian.

There is a grim reaper character. It’s unlocked by killing a reaper which there are guides on how to do.
I wouldn't necessarily call "turn a good single-player experience into another battle royale" as /innovation/, precisely. That seems more like "pulling a Bethesda".

it needs twitch integration for chat to mess with you. kind of liek borderlands 3 or warhammer: vermintide 2. like imagine only being able to choose from 2 power ups instead of 3 for a minute, or triple elite spawn, or that circle of death plant thing randomly popping up, instead of on a timer on the garden map. increase enemy movement speed 10-15% for say 15 seconds, or maybe even an occassional chat chosen level up for a chest instead of the roulette style. could be nice could be subpar, but never something you dont have already, just like regular chests roulette.

This is why revives suck. If you're in a position to need one, you're just gonna die again 10 seconds later.
Like anything else it depends on the build and situation. I do agree that you don't want to rely on them though and the single passive unlock should almost always be sufficient until the inevitable evolution that will give more value to taking the revive item during a run. If you don't need anything else to win it can also be an easy way to get another few hundred gold at the end of a run too, since each revive after Death gives money.
Someone needs to make a new BR or egg man will start asking for Rouge Tower BR or Mon Bazou BR

Idk sword kinda sucks in my experience. Might have made the difference over Stone Mask though, that's for sure.
Sword's gotten upwards of like 10k dps for me before, its definitely pretty solid.

Projectile Speed and Area are pretty important for it. Speed lets it have a far enough throw out that it consistently reaches the edge of the screen in the direction that its launched at initially so you actually get your full two way coverage per sword. Area increase boosts number of targets its hitting as well of course.
Also empty tome and duplicator are extremely good for like, everything. About as mandatory as spinach for getting the big outputs. Max tome out before finishing any weapon upgrade, it only applies its cooldown reduction to a weapon after the weapon gets a level up.
EDIT: so they bugfixed tome so thats nice.
@@KoopaKrump My 2k was with Spinach, Empty Tome, Duplicator, and Bracer. I usually take all of them, and build bible/runetracer since those scale so well with bracer. I recall the sword doing more damage when I didn't take Bracer (up to like 4k) so maybe Candleabrador is the real factor here
My girlfriend and I watched the first 30 minutes of Big Bug last night and had to turn it off because of how truly garbage it was. Also the word horny isn't strong enough to describe how horny the movie actually is.
