Shoutout to Victor Schroers for building this amazing shader, check out his artstation: www.artstation...
Victor is genius level at shaders
❤ Still feels surreal, but I'm so happy to see my materials in other people's projects.
@@hasselhoff5734 You're very talented its great to see that talent being showcased🙏
this is the coolest shader i have seen since glass
Saw it, bought it immediately. Been looking for a solid CRT effect for ages. Thank you so much for creating this. :']
I can't believe I just made a basic version of this by myself, from scratch, today, when I could have just downloaded this
Darn.
Update: bought this and it’s now my fav addon
holy shit i was looking for something like this last month. good timing!
Epic and pure genius
Pro tier is adding dimming zones/light bleed for the lcd screen.
lmao i like your facecam being behind the outliner at 7:47
lol glad someone noticed :D
Awesome shader!! Very good job for Victor Schroers!!
This is amazing. Thank you for this Sir.
This individual possesses magical abilities.
impressive 🎉
Damn I’ve been using a simple version of this I made and love it but this so cool it’s got lots of fancy features and detail
9 dollar is almost nothing for this cool add on. Very very cool!!!
Highest quality addon this year❤
Great and worth the money
funny to watch this video when this was the exact type of shader i happened to make for a project in detail about a year ago haha
I was really wanting this :D you see the red blue green and the cyan magenta yellow
Ok this is just fantastic
Had this idea 11/2022 x).
Sadly i didn't needed it, so, i created the shader, and then left it there. Cool to see it as an addon. I might be bad thinking this, but 9$ is kinda expensive tho
Absolutely awesome
Wow that's beautiful!!!🎉🎉
Excellent stuff!
Hey man 👋Just bought this, love it! Could you help tell me how to increase the brightness? It appears to be maxed out but I'm really trying to get a bit more glow. It might be because my pixels are very small.
Finna buy this
Soooo cool. At 6:13 you mention it works best with square images/videos. Also all your input is black and white. But what happens when you input 16:9, colored input for example? Will the shader still work?
It will. If you use a 16:9 image you should scale the plane by 1.6 on the x/y and 0.9 on the z. -> if you have a 16:9 image you need a 16:9 monitor 😉
@@hasselhoff5734awesome, thanks
Really cool
Wow Wow Wow!!!!!
so close looking for a shader that make texures looks like old gameboy screens.
Amazing
Actually very cool
Very nice!
Wow
That's cool
Can I export this with transparent background?
Image sequence has to be square?
F***ing brilliant, bro! 👏
Nifty.
hey, i've bought the addon a week ago and tried it in the office Mac but when i redownloaded it on my home PC it just shows a white emission and the whole pixel thing isnt really working, after going through the nodes, it seems like everything is in place and nothing looks wrong.
i'd really appreciate it if you could help me ASAP.
Thank you Lots
When I drag it in my object just glows white and nothing seems to change it, does anybody else have the same problem?
Make sure you're using blender 3.4 or above.
thanks@@hasselhoff5734
hey, this is absolutely perfect for a project I'm working on! I have a question, I'm trying to display multiple screens in the same scene, and I'm not seeing how to unlink the group so each screen can display a different image/video. i'm intermediate in blender but still getting a grasp on nodes so I'm sure it's something simple.
I'm not at a computer right now, so I can't tell you the exact location. But it should be next to the group name in the properties - a number that's showing how often it is used, like materials have for example. Clicking on the number makes it a new individual copy. But I guess switching the designs will no longer work like shown in the video and will always get back to the original group.
I've been trying to do this for ages lol
I have done this but very interesting tutorial, but using a texture.
0:14 uhhh asbjorn pixels are still what every tv uses •~•
why are both lcd and crt effects both in one shader
How is this possible just with shaders
@Polyfjord2 Real Pixels shaders are amaxing. Had a chance to use them for our film project. But I am using it quite differently . I am using it too make holograms .Modified a bit . Working great so far . I had just simple query to ask . I want the pixels to move in upward direction with out losing the texture image. Just a lil movement up and down movement . I tried keying the resolution i need to set a range for it cant be from 0 to 1. I need to keep it from 500 to 1000 range . Not that great at blender math nodes or basics. Can you help me . Thanks for the shader .
for some reason my plane just turns black when i apply the shaders, anyone know why this happens ?
You are probably using the wrong blender version. 3.4 or above will work
how it work for color images?
The shader separates RGB and applies the image intensity to the corresponding pixels, which is exactly what you want.
Also each pixel can only have one brightness value, which is something that most screen shaders can't do.
this is 4 am and I am watching this video because I know your video are more knowledgefull and please make it free because I am a student
I feel really old when you call these screens vintage
Thanks to this shader I could finally realize my vision for a music visualization :-) ruclips.net/video/TuSJvsIiWBc/видео.html
Thanks a lot for this!
You are getting too smart 😅
Hope that they won't steel you from us 😉
Until next time ✌️
Insta buy. Sorry.
I'm gonna put my Akira renders through this. Ultimate nostalgia ♥️
9$ for this simple shader is to much you can make it yourself in less then 10min
1st!
