I put 10K in a meme coin which was audited etc and a pinksale which crashed in price. I am still better with 14K diversified into projects. The lesson is be ruthless taking profits.

Selling on a los is not easy it’s hard to say if you should sell now. 5b coins is a lot and I’m pissed that they are cashing on retail same time having massive funds.

In other words, dont try to time the top and greed can definitely kick in. What about thoughts on if the market doesnt react the way you think it will...what if HBAR just goes gang-busters...and hits $3 or more? How would you adjust the plan...or would you simply just take your profits off the table and go?

This incremental selling is just a fantastic plan. In my other world we did the same thing but there was not time to do all this planning. I’d sell at one or two spots before my target. a good rule of investing for MOST investors is, just for simplicity ,you invest 100 it doubles to 200 sell enough to get original investment back. now you are playing with house money from there if you chose let it ride, or if it has a big move take 25 percent of it in profits and so on if you chose ,another big move another 25 percent. selling is hard if you dont have a plan! greed gets us all if we dont have a plan, peace and best wishes to all

And…if so, in what part of the bull run should you stop putting that money back into projects and just hold it until the bottom of the bear market to buy back in? Lastly…once you’ve taken profits and you know you want to buy back in at the bottom of the bear market…should you just leave the profits in USDC or USDT in your wallet?
Well not all of it... But puting, say 20% of your profits back into the market is not detrimental. Just make sure you do not lose money but actually profit in total.

He always says coins will 5 to 10x. But those multiples are too low for him. He's said many times that he has a personal goal of 20x. If he doesn't believe a project has 20x potential, he moves on.
What if you never exit the market and you borrow using crypto as collateral everytime you need cash? You can also spend a small portion for income every bull run but never sell all. That way you don't need to time the market.
