Another great compilation video for controls all in one. By watching these videos it keeps your knowledge fresh in your mind. It's all about practice for us to become better engineers its all about learning the proper way and doing the job perfect. Thanks Derek great video mate.. 😀😀👍👍
This is another great video Derek. After watching one of your videos it made me watch all of them. Can’t stop watching them. Well done very clear and informative love them 👍
Hello Sir Great informative video, Thank you very much If possible then please make a video about Gas controls rigs because in you tube there no proper informatime video. Thanks and regards 🙏🙏
Ashok Rawal there is no need for me to do a video on control rigs because they have the same components on the appliances. Also all the rigs are the same so if I did do a video on the rigs I would be giving the assessment away 😜thanks for watching cheers
On the cooker hob FSD test, why did you not do a mini or Full tightness test after extinguishing the flame? You haven’t checked that the FSD has full closed, whilst it clicks out, doesn’t mean it Is fully sealed!
Hi Tom Kat, love your videos, what Mark is saying is when checking the electrical FSD on the gas oven why you didn't put the U Gage on the meter to check the FSD has fully closed because we was taught the click sound is not 100% accurate.
To explain further the test I have been taught is to, attach a gauge at the meter test point and run the appliance. Turn off the gas and start stop watch. At 58 seconds grab ECV handle at 59seconds turn on and at 60 seconds turn off, there should be no drop on the gauge(ECV).
enjoyable video again , thank you Derek , Mohamed Hassan

Have you got a video where you commission a cooker with a top grill and carry out a combustion performance test on the top grill
CháosCronus yes in how to use a flue gas analysers and understand the results
I wish I was near Tomkat training college I would sign up
Tightness test on a gas valve and testing safety device on condensing boilers. Please explain.
Don’t really know what you are asking can you be a bit more specific
On the cooker hob FSD test, why did you not do a mini or Full tightness test after extinguishing the flame?
You haven’t checked that the FSD has full closed, whilst it clicks out, doesn’t mean it Is fully sealed!
First what is a mini tightness test ? And second if you are talking about the back boiler I used the manometer to see if it was passing.
