The craziest thing about dmt that I never hear anyone talk about is how sobering it is. Its not like any other drug in that way. You dont get high, elated, buzzed in any way. It just rips you out of your body and takes you somewhere else. Its the most intimate and profound experience, beyond explanation.
So like when your sober you have your normal senses and also experience everything through your eyes. What I don’t understand is where does the normal world go? Do you just black out and are lying down while this is happening ? Or is this almost like augmented reality hallucinations on top of normal world?
@@foxooo it's both. 1-2 hits is really intense but short trip, and you stay here. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw through my body sort of like a MRI machine. 3 hits and you go unconscious and blast off to some other place. You have no name there, no body, no history, just pure experience. It's communicative. It talks to you. Sometimes in words, sometimes without words. Sometimes in the form of some alien or gnome yelling shit at you, sometimes there's no one there at all and it's like you're downloading information straight from the cosmos. You come back after 10 minutes, it feels like much, much longer.

Mushrooms actually did wonders in my life. I could remember several years ago, I was diagnosed with ADHD. Also suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

Can you help me with the reliable source. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Australia. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.
I hate that psilocybin gets grouped with drugs like cocaine and heroin. Mushrooms are a remedy, not a vice! I went on a microdose treatment for a couple of months and within the first week, every sight of a cigarette got me questioning why I was doing all that to myself. It really works.
Yes he's Dr.raymycology. Shrooms to me is a natrual healer. I know a guy who has used mushrooms in the same way and they have really helped him. mah dudes have safe trips all.
The hallucinations you get from DMT look as real as what you perceive to be real, it's so beautiful and almost unbelievable because I didn't know it was humanly possible to experience something like that.
@@DuelWielding2DohDoh_BiRDS Hard to say, sometimes a lower dose of N'N can be similar to a high dose of 5-MeO, and of course you know that it affects different people very differently. Stay safe! :)
The best way I can describe it is it helps you let go of your ego for a good amount of time. I didn't drink, smoke, etc. for a month or two after trying it. You feel at peace and more connected to everyone.
You can't overdose on mushrooms alone . You can definitely eat the wrong mushroom and get poisoning from that, but no one has ever died from psilocybin OD
Research shows that psilocybin mushrooms have promising results for mental health support, particularly in reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety and PTSD.
That 'oneness' is due to the ego centre of the brain being turned off. You literally stop looking at the world with you being the centre. It's amazing.
you literally become everything. its ironic how were all one and probably all the same consciousness, crazy huh. like you is probably me in another life woaaahh duudee
Great way to put it... my take away from it was that lil voice in your head shuts off and your just an object like a tree but feels so more more alive then reality
My recovery journey was greatly enhanced by the therapeutic benefits of mushrooms. Other psychedelics like DMT and LSD have also proven to be remarkable.
This was LEGIT one of the BEST explanations I have EVER heard of what it TRULY can feel like to take any substance which can cause you to have similar experiences and feelings such as Theo shared.... from DMT, ACID, SHROOMS etc. the way he spoke about it is TOO REAL if you have ever personally been there as well LMAO 😂
But let me add that when your sense of individuality (ego) is suppressed, blocked, disintegrated, etc....all there is left is one thing. This is very foundational in Eastern philosophy and is used as a concept that helps people develop a more harmonious relationship between themselves and everything else.
I was severely traumatized years ago as a teenage, got diagnosed with bipolar. Spent my whole life fighting bipolar. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.
I guess I just want somewhere to share my story. When I was 19 I took shrooms, and it was like I was turned inside out. As a child, I was very extroverted and loved being around people. And after the shrooms, I felt disconnected from everyone and everything around me. I just wanted to alone. I am learning to feel happiness from within myself, not running from myself. It's been a LONG and PAINFUL process but once it's healed, it's healed and beautiful.
Its like that...people just stress me tf out. one time i did shrooms (my first n only time but i had done acid before) and i started to notice how badly my friends treated me and i saw how we interracted with each other more clearly, and it really opened my eyes.

@Benson Yeah but thats just your opinion, evidence in the clinical field shows how life changing it can be and the potential for change when combined with therapy to guide and process the experience. For a lot of people it is as life changing as it can get. "Litte bit changing" sounds like a lack of knowledge on the topic.

I hear this is supposed to be good for people who have mental health issues. I actually just started the research process of microdosing and all that. Im to the point where I want shock treatment.
I feel what he’s trying to say about DMT. I smoked it, after that terrible taste I felt a similar way. I felt like my life just hit a hard rewind and I saw myself all the way back to the womb, then I just had this feeling where you just leave your body as it feels like you just left life behind. Almost like I was reborn but I had died at the same time. The best way I can describe what happened next was that All the colors started moving and then it was like in Star Wars when they go warped speed but all the colors and light instead of just black and white stars into a calming place within space, but also…not anywhere? It felt super expansive yet wam and cozy too, like I was the universe snuggled under a blanket. I didn’t hear any beings talking or anything but just seemed to feel emotions, like I was experiencing other people emotions that weren’t even there, all positive like I was a whole collective mind of minds happy and inquisitive. I’m not going to lie I just kind of gently reappeared into my body like I was between sleep and being awake and I was just back….but it honestly fucked with my head for a bit. It was all in a matter of like…15-20 minute experience? But it felt like I lived a whole other life. It felt strange the rest of the day and even a day or two after like when you’re in a dream and you ask yourself if you’re dreaming but can’t conclude for sure until you’re awake. The only difference is that I never had a defining moment where I felt I had “woken up” per se. it’s just like…oh life’s back to normal now I guess 🤔
@russellbrand5077bro, this is literally how Theo talks, if you told me he was just describing a dream he had he would sound exactly like this, in fact the DMT experience probably diminished his actual imagination.

I did dmt once with a few buddies of mine a couple years back and I can honestly say I didn't trip as much as them but all it did for me was open my eyes .. meaning everything became clear it was strange but really cool at the same time kinda hard to explain ,Everything had a meaning . Now My other buddy was talking to his dead grandfather and the other dude thought a demon was trying to grab his soul and bring him to hell he turn white as a ghost and puked everywhere asking us to save him from this demon . I guess it all depends who you are and what's your mood at the time when taking it just like acid or anything else but that's just my experience.
Yessir, Bill DID take acid and it really enlightened him...he writes about it in the 'big book'. It's most certainly NOT a 'step' tho...BUT IT SHOULD BE!!! Im a recovering addict myself, coming up on 5yrs. Hallucinogenics played a major role in my journey and still do to this day. Im str8 up WOKE SON!!! LOL
Heck yeah! Science is finally separating DMT & LSD etc from alcohol & heroin & cocaine. Veterans with combat pain use visionary-compounds in therapy, to **finally** overcome traumas. There’s a cool science group that studies therapy-plus-hallucinogens called ‘MAPS’ that works with UC Berkeley
I always love it when bobby says "be real" and "I'm being real" . He's just never serious about a lot so when he says it I start laughing because I'm thinking it won't be "real" even though when he says he is he sounds like it
I never felt the need to do dmt only because I have had a similar experience through deep meditation before. I tried to explain it to my mother and she didn’t believe me. One time during meditation my consciousness became one with everything! My body was no longer. I felt expansive like I literally became expansiveness if that makes any sense? Like I was the sun, the wind the lake I was everything and everywhere and I felt love and pure Bliss! I realized how beautiful life was and not to fear death because it’s nothing to be scared of. There’s so much more beyond the physical realm that’s so beautiful. That experience changed my life and gave me the answers to life and the after life. We are physically here for an experience and all we have is now but what’s on the other side once we physically die is beautiful, bliss and peace. We have nothing to fear. I truly believe that these types of experiences can help so many people heal themselves.
@@jrwar12 I want to know the same thing. This sounds like very advanced stuff... like decades of meditation. It literally sounds like a heroic psychedelics trip

The way Theo described this is as spot on. Never heard a more accurate description.. it’s 100% true too. All we are is conscious expressing itself. We are everything, God is in us, in everything. Our essence is the same as every single thing.

It's crazy how people say dmt finds you. My buddy went to Hawaii and brought back bark and extracted it. Never expected to get higher then smoking my buds and dabs but one night I loaded way to much into a bowl and was certain I had done something so wrong but it was the best feeling ever at the same time so scary leaving this realm. Was always scared of the feeling of not having to breath, felt like I fell through the back of my own head and into the ether of the big bang. Met the purple woman and she showed me the rainbow realms and felt like I was there for thousands of years. When I came back it was hard to believe how long I was gone. Found my way back to the same point I left off, makes this 20 years I've been alive feel like a grain of salt. I would hit it again, but I'll never search for it. And every time Id go to hit it Id get so nervous because I know what it's capable of. 🤙🤙 Gotta respect the deems or it will show you
DMT takes me weeks of building up the balls to hit that sweet alien purple tasting stuff. I don’t know why purple but that’s what it tastes like to me.
This past year I've watched my buddy get more into them calling it his therapy. But really he's just missing out more and more on being capable of seeing his daughter.
@Nopen just taking up his universe and also making an easy excuse for the mum to deny access. He thinks it's helping him but really it's driving a wedge
In one single night DMT completely overturned what I understood reality to be. I went from denying “spiritual reality”, given I had no evidence for it, to completely affirming spiritual reality given I had a direct experience of it. To each their own, but for me it’s undeniable. Reality is far more and far greater than anything we generally perceive if to be. Reality is spiritual and “spiritual reality” is undeniable 🙏

You exhale, next 2-3 seconds reality in front of you turns almost cartoonish and embedded with fractals, patterns etc. Then a wave of lightheadedness but throughout your whole body comes on strong. So strong its builds up over the next few seconds to an incapacitating feeling and before you know it you have no choice but to lay back and close your eyes. Then the ride begins. Personally it felt as if my body was suddenly moving at what I could only describe as the "light speed" moments in star wars. It starts slow but then ramps up like you're being shot out of a cannon. Every single time is just as, if not more jaw dropping than the last. You can never be truly prepared for this, just have to take the plunge knowing you'll be okay. After the "light speed" feeling reaches its maximum it feels exactly like you've broken through the barrier that contains this reality, and into the DMT realm. Known as a breakthrough. Words can only do so much, while doing so little. Language can attempt to describe it but it doesn't even come relatively close to the experience. You're in awe, star struck. Taking in, becoming, perceiving everything in the universe at once simultaneously. You can feel the universe almost expanding, like you're now perceiving it and its entirety while its expanding and while "it" is you. Or everything in existence. The deer running in the woods. A rock on a mountainside. The ocean. Molecules in the atmosphere. Even other planets you as "you" aren't even aware of in this reality. You're experiencing everything all at once, observing every single instance of time throughout the beginning of the universe to what's unknown, or the end of existence. While this feeling envelops you, you might be seeing entities, incredibly complex fractals, lifetimes as an alien, etc. I've had "surgery" preformed on me by entities, removing impurities in my soul or consciousness. Made love to an entity. Merged with infinite amounts of beings pulsating love each time they merged and disconnected only to merge more, then merging all together and feelings what I could only describe as total peace and love. Words cannot do it justice, no amount of research can truly "prepare" you for what it is. It's similar in concept to jumping out of a plane. Thinking, and trying to rationalize how you're going to take the plunge will do no help. You have to fight every single instinct in your body to truly let go, and surrender to the experience. Which is the only way to move on past the "bad", and experience what it truly has to offer. Every single time after I've broken through it truly felt like I had did it, I killed myself. There was no turning back (not that I could even desire to in that state). But its truly a liberating experience once you wake back up, and come to. I've gained more insight into myself, and the world through this. It's not for the faint hearted. But I believe if you aren't dealing with mental health problems. Running from traumatic experiences in your past. Or if you have a lot of negative baggage. Then it'd probably be best to stay away, similar to how you would with most psyches since they'd likely only exacerbate, and create problems. But if you're relatively healthy, and willing to take the plunge. I'd swear on my life that every human should if not deserves to experience it. This is what I think was before we became who we are in this lifetime. And what happens when we pass on. Who knows. It could all just be a high. But once you've experienced it, similar to others you'd likely be able to contest to its realness. Hope this was valuable to anyone interested in what it might be like. Remember though that nothing can prepare you for this. LSD/Shrooms etc. help familiarize you with the state but even then don't hold a candle to a DMT breakthrough. It's more real than reality.
People in the program can be a bit intense sometimes and I appreciate the fact that Theo says everyone has their own program. I quit going to meetings almost 5 years ago because it was a bit too extreme. I'm still over 6 years off heroin, but I tripped on mushrooms last night. Not to just get high and see shit but for a spiritual boost. When I was younger I always looked for that crazy fucking trip that would top them all. Now I have respect for the chemicals. You should go into a trip with a purpose and not just to get high.
I definitely took shrooms in hopes of seeing walls melt and other crazy shit and instead tripped out so bad and had a tough realization and definitely regretted it. Definitely should respect the stuff and have a purpose and not just hope for the best high

And also in the other dimension do you have your normal senses? Where is your consciousness’ perspective through? Like your normal body?

@@mrmustizzle I read the big book plenty times. Where does it talk bout him taking acid?
I thought it was meth
Ironic he’s doing this dmt talk in a mike Tyson shirt... lol
Frrrrrrrrrrrr lol 😂
Ah, the good old Alanis Morissette school of irony...
@@paukin9344 oh my god..
That's not ironic, it's just coincidental. It would be ironic if Mike Tyson famously hated DMT or criticized people who did DMT
There are no coincidences
I always love it when bobby says "be real" and "I'm being real" . He's just never serious about a lot so when he says it I start laughing because I'm thinking it won't be "real" even though when he says he is he sounds like it
Respect to Theo for waiting the 6 months to talk abt it
I never felt the need to do dmt only because I have had a similar experience through deep meditation before.
@Sean Dennis It's an amazing feeling
Do you mind sharing which form of meditation you used, how long you practiced and how long you meditated that day for you to get such an experience?
@@jrwar12 I want to know the same thing. This sounds like very advanced stuff... like decades of meditation. It literally sounds like a heroic psychedelics trip
This sounds like very advanced stuff... like decades of meditation. It literally sounds like a heroic psychedelics trip
I don't doubt you had an interesting experience but what DMT does you can't achieve through meditation. Are you old enough to remember music equalisers? It's like living in one
Theo Von, goin' through them changes, still effortlessly funny. Also ily Bob koreababy
There's so much people don't know about Theo and only his close friends do. He has a dark side and hates it it seems. But when you're that naturally funny and gifted, something has to even ya out.
You can see a glimpse of it in Theo's appearance on first we feast
@Russell Brand I just got my 26th concussion (MX crashes), if I tripped I'd either become brain dead or a sociopath. 😵💫 Only have a few cells left! Never tried any psychedelic....but had a problem with basically everything else. Well tried ecstasy when I was a kid, idk if that's a psychedelic
The way Theo described this is as spot on. Never heard a more accurate description.. it’s 100% true too. All we are is conscious expressing itself. We are everything, God is in us, in everything. Our essence is the same as every single thing.
This makes me wanna face my fears 😂

haha same!
In every interview Bobby like, “we had that falling out during that time...” like with multiple guests lol

🤙🤙 Gotta respect the deems or it will show you
@lazarusgodspower215 do you pay with btc or other methods

@surfcafe agree. I always get so nervous beforehand. But when I’m in it I’m like oh yeah, all is fine.
“I was a piece of sunshine, a bucket of sand, I was a freckle.” Theo Von
That was a really profound description. Normally he's experiencing life through his body, but he was experiencing it all. Really wild.
i dont think psychedelics would really count as a relapse, good luck getting addicted to them
It’s not it’s straight medicine for the soul
DMT takes me weeks of building up the balls to hit that sweet alien purple tasting stuff. I don’t know why purple but that’s what it tastes like to me.
This past year I've watched my buddy get more into them calling it his therapy. But really he's just missing out more and more on being capable of seeing his daughter.
@Nopen just taking up his universe and also making an easy excuse for the mum to deny access. He thinks it's helping him but really it's driving a wedge
Alex Webster He’s dong them wrong then. After DMT my depression stayed away for weeks, i enjoyed my kids more than ever.
Great explanation to be honest, it’s super hard to explain these kinds of experiences.
I've done shrooms and acid but not this and what u said is kinda what I got from a buddy when I asked him about it many yrs ago.
this dude theo explained a dmt trip perfectly like wow thats the best way to explain any type of spiritual experince
Reality is spiritual and “spiritual reality” is undeniable 🙏

at this point, to be an LA comic all you need is a podcast and experience smoking DMT.
LA Comic starter kit includes one open-mic, one of those micrpohones with the jib, a visit to the JRE, and, eventually, homelessness.
So fucking funny because it’s true. Lol
Cynthia May this video we’re commenting on is the only type of stuff you need
And not be funny
Ty for your time to explain this, still debating whether I should do it this Saturday. Your explanation helped! Still not sure tho haha
yeah ill probably stick to beer

People in the program can be a bit intense sometimes and I appreciate the fact that Theo says everyone has their own program. I quit going to meetings almost 5 years ago because it was a bit too extreme. I'm still over 6 years off heroin, but I tripped on mushrooms last night. Not to just get high and see shit but for a spiritual boost. When I was younger I always looked for that crazy fucking trip that would top them all. Now I have respect for the chemicals. You should go into a trip with a purpose and not just to get high.
After a bad trip I realized this, it’s almost like a tool to see into yourself
I definitely took shrooms in hopes of seeing walls melt and other crazy shit and instead tripped out so bad and had a tough realization and definitely regretted it. Definitely should respect the stuff and have a purpose and not just hope for the best high
