English genius in the area, another grand prize?? I want to share the honor not with my parents but with the quokka. Earth did everything and I just added to it...
Everyone... Is this right?
I just pitied a turtle that injured its nose
because of a plastic straw
and I was just sad that
the four seasons in Korea are disappearing...
I just loved Earth, and I got an award!
After coincidentally seeing
the news of animals suffering
due to ocean trash
I tried a very small environmental protection activity
that I could do.
As I did it, I realized that
I could never protect the Earth alone.
That's why I started doing Net Zero RUclips,
participating in forums and debates
and doing activities to meet diverse friends.
But interestingly,
regardless of my plan,
as if the Earth fairy is helping me,
a mission led to another meeting
and it led to another mission
and meeting someone led to
another meeting.
It is like a butterfly effect.
Now, it feels like a huge effect
made by a small butterfly is pushing me
to be the guardian of Earth
it feels like destiny
so my sense of responsibility is getting bigger
and I get a sense of duty.
But what's really interesting is that
although it might feel pressuring
everything seems natural.
Environment is everyone's issue
and it is natural for anyone living on Earth
so I am taking it naturally.
Oh! And just like how I suddenly got an award
and had to visit the embassy for the first time ever
I encounter fun things I never imagined
which is very exciting!
It's thrilling every day.
Anyway, with the speech contest from a small community
as a start,
I happened to go on
a really big speech contest, too.
