I also found you on reddit. I stumbled over to reddit while reviewing if my 14 year old living language complete set was still helpful. Mind you, I have never used it...what a waste of money. Anyway, I'm looking into retiring to a Spanish speaking country in a few years, possibly Panama, and want to be able to speak the language and converse with the people. Not just expats. Im grateful to have found you and am excited to view all your videos. What a blessing that you have included free resources! ❤

The first tip tbh is the most underrated imo . Learning Spanish for me has had so many ups and downs …lots of doubt , frustration but having a clear “why” is what has always kept me engaged with the language . I’m not a person that really sticks to things either … but I’m pretty proud of my Spanish . I’d consider myself able to speak Spanish although in definitely not fluent ! 😂
@@LeeroyDeWitt I’m sure your Spanish is amazing! It’s so normal to have ups and downs while learning a language, the important thing is to realise it and do so something about it! I’ve always needed a big solid WHY to keep me motivated and on track! I find these 5 steps really really useful for my students ☺️

Thank you so much! Duolingo is fine for a first contact, but I think there are better ways to spend your time 💃🏻🤭 there are so many songs to listen to, tv shows and movies, RUclips videos to watch! I feel even 10 minutes of a podcast a day will make your Spanish improve so much more than Duolingo 😅
