@@lizmeyering3157 Using 8" squares for the 4 at a time method would result in HST units of just a touch over 5" untrimmed. So to achieve an 8" (I am assuming finished) block you would need to trim the HSTs to 41/2". Trimming is not mentioned in the video.
If you could get a quarter inch foot or guide for your machine you could avoid drawing the sew line. And if you used a rotary cutter, you could bypass the step of drawing the line and cutting with scissors... it would go alot faster. But I love your ideas! Pretty blocks!
