I' ve seen the video of this concert maybe a thousand times... It was a time when she was creating her own music, she looked so fresh, a young girl dreaming of glory with her band that looked like friends, and today I still think it was her best one...
For two years maybe, I've listened to even the most remote of her videos, Ellie everyday... I was surely a little in love with her, I loved her voice and the kind girl she seemed to be ! But after Burn something has changed, like if someone had told her: " If you want to go a step farther, you have to change, the kind of music you do will not bring you where you want..." I' ve become step by step less interested by her new songs, for me she had lost her way... I wont criticise her, of course I know that a singer's career is almost ever quite short, you have three or five years to create a sufficient fanbase that will allow you ( maybe ) to last a few years more...
Today I sometimes come back to Lights or Halcyon songs, but the magic is gone and it makes me a bit nostalgic...
