That's what they call a breakfast nook in the area you were confused about. You see how the counter top has more over hang on the window side than the other. There would have been stools back in that space you could pull up to the counter and eat. Kind of like a bar for breakfast.
could it be they don't have enough money? shit could happen and maybe the money needed to fix some problems couldn't cover up the cost so they usually just leave it be.
You do an awesome job of presenting these time capsules. Your demeanor is cool and you seem like someone I'd like to hang out with. I think the old houses are the coolest.
Nice Castle! I commend you for protecting your explored places! I’d love to do an exploration with you and your crew, you have such a knack for finding abandoned places! Nice video, as always!
@Paladin Eugene- How weird for you to have felt that this house had a bad vibe. I started to really feel it even more after the basement. Something isn't right about that house. Totally erie feeling
It looks as if someone was trying to remodel it and either ran out of money or just stopped for some reason or another. That floor was almost finished being put down.
R Boyd I thought & said the same in my comment Hun, it looks too shiny, if it had been abandoned for a long time I'd of expected mould, damp, bugs, ruin, dust etc, it looks like somebody bought it to redesign, & maybe their funds ran out or they were a business person & they went bankrupt, so now it will be sold as land, & new developer's will either demolish or start from base & work up. Sad really, but I guess in today's economy money can be lost so easy, I'm from the U.K & many businesses or homeowners are losing their properties
I like the original architechture and layout. The house looked like it was nice in the 80s. This is my opinion on what happened. In the recent past, someone bought this house to make it into a profitable group home. While putting up walls in the basement for additional rooms mold was discovered. Code inspectors wouldn't pass on the house until the mold was removed. The new owner couldnt afford to rectify the expansive mold problem to pass code, so it went into foreclosure. Now, it's being knocked down and a new home built on the land.
They did come across a room in the basement that had mold from floor to ceiling so I think you are right. Looked like one of the other rooms was a sauna so it looks like that may have been the cause. Maybe a group run by a christian organization???
sometimes I wonder how these peoples brains work when styling a home. the layouts are weird and a lot of wasted space. this house was based on the stairs to each room. great video,
About 30 years ago, was ask to house set an estate. It was a multi level, had 2 dining rooms, a breakfast nook, 2 offices, library, artifacts room, solarium, parlor, 4 vestibules with coat closets, laundry room, billiards table room, theater, 3 pantries and so forth oh it 7 bathrooms one was designated for contractors and subcontractors ( wait staff and cleaners--- it had a sign on it saying rest room) I could go on. I was watching this place for two months living there. Had a letter from the executor of the estate ( 3 family members died in a plane crash/ the uncle was the pilot). I wish I had pictures of that place it was awesome. Unfortunately the house no longer exists. 10 years ago or so arson was done to the house, the garage, mechanic shop, stable, kennel and enclosed pool. And it doesn't help when it's off a back road with a half a mile drive way.
Hi. Thanks for the tour. This was a odd house with a odd layout. Very strange. My legs ached at the look of all those stairs. Ouch! Large property. Demolition. Figures. Not surprised Take care.
Very unique house.. Love all the different leavels.. The basement area look like it was gonna b more bedrooms... Its a shame it was never completed . thanks for sharing.... Watching from California, Missouri.
Another home that was built by someone who didn't know what they were doing, for an owner who probably had money, but no taste. I first noticed the powder room door that opened against the sink. No reputable builder would do that. It's just a big home that screams, "cheap".
I know you had to be careful not to get caught BUT it would be nice if you would scan around the rooms more slowly so we could see things more clearly & if the ceilings & wood working are cool show us. Remember you are taking us on a little sighting tour so to speak & if we can't enjoy the view we won't be back. Just something to think about.
These abandoned places should be renovated and turned into homeless shelter and orphanages to help people y demolish something so useful and awesomely made
You know I bet that was a nice house when it was new it still looks pretty good I like some of the architectural things about it I'd love to find the plans and build something like that I think it would be a great addition to see it in his full Glory if anybody knows where you can find old plans for houses I'd love to find it
I'll tell you what the rounded rooms are for..... they are known as piano rooms. The shape of the room causes the music to sound like they've been amplified. The roundness causes the sound to echo outwards. The room with these rounded floor to ceiling windows is a sunroom.. love the house.
New to your channel Carlo. Great find, wow that was a sick house. Good for you not revealing this place. It saddens me when people act like jerks. Hugs from Oregon
House looks like it has good bones why demolish it! lots of stairs and confusing layout but beautiful home none the less. Almost looks like they were renovating. This video was from 2 years ago, did it end up being demolished? thnx for sharing!
UBC Its criminal that they are knocking this beauty down, those developers have rocks in their heads. I loved this house not many problems like others its different
Cool place, man. First seeing it, it kind of looks like a doctor office or dentist; the round section looks like it would be a waiting room. I've seen this design in those place a lot. Makes a cool house, too.
I can't believe this beautiful home is getting demolished why didn't someone buy the home and restore it back to it's it wonderful craftsmanship. All it really needs is a few touch ups and have some of the things that are hazardous to your health removed who be a great place to live. I loved the video I subbed you right after I watched the vid I'm a instant fan
I love the house. I would buy it as-is. It doesn't look like it was even finished for anyone to move in. Wish someone could share it's history. Some of these abandoned homes kill me. Such a waste.
It would be great if you did some research and got some history on the location you find. I just found your videos. And you have found some nice places. I watch some other guys and the kick a little history on all the places. Love the videos. Drop some info on the places lol.
Juan Orozco there’s not much to know about this place... it was custom built in 1986 and was purchased by a developer and waiting to be demolished. Nothing super significant about it.
I think that might be a breakfast nook. The mysterious little space with barely enough room for a table. I might be wrong. That place used to be a facility for training knights for Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament show. I was the black and white knight back in the early and mid 90s. Yep.
I actually love it. It’s in great condition!!!!!! It’s not moldy or gross. It’s a very nice home
I would actually enjoy buying this place and bring it back to life
Doyle Preston I Love that house but it was a lot of stairs I would get confused
It looked like it wasn't finished
It’s a lovely house. Tearing this down is a shame.
.
This doesn’t look like anyone ever lived in it... but it makes me very curious of the story behind why it was never finished and just left behind
That's what they call a breakfast nook in the area you were confused about. You see how the counter top has more over hang on the window side than the other. There would have been stools back in that space you could pull up to the counter and eat. Kind of like a bar for breakfast.
It's a shame that such a beautiful house is being demolished😕
Crazy house. So many stairs! Loved the location! Amazing! Thanks!
I’m glad you care about the places you explore, even though about to be demolished, still don’t want vandalism.
I don't understand why people build such beautiful homes and then just leave.
Is a narco hauses follow mi chanel is exploring narco hauses of cali colombia mafia
Im tired of some of the ones that can be fixed up getting torn. If it says it's being demolshed, i usually cant bare to watch.
could it be they don't have enough money? shit could happen and maybe the money needed to fix some problems couldn't cover up the cost so they usually just leave it be.

Love your videos!! You and Ethan make a great team!
Gold colored trim and mirror was popular for decorating in the '80s.
This home was designed to entertain, but there is a weird creepy vibe that I feel just watching it. Did you get the same feeling being there?
@Paladin Eugene- How weird for you to have felt that this house had a bad vibe. I started to really feel it even more after the basement. Something isn't right about that house. Totally erie feeling
The basement with all the rooms kinda creeped me out
Wonder if it was for sex slave trafficking or a brothel
Tnb ur profile pic is making some of us gag.
It looks as if someone was trying to remodel it and either ran out of money or just stopped for some reason or another.

R Boyd: I agree. I think in the process of the remodel they found mold and everything came to a screeching halt!
I like the original architechture and layout. The house looked like it was nice in the 80s.

Great guess. And would explain it looking like a door emporium in places. Would get interesting to know if you're correct
The house was being used as a church, you apparently missed the cross on top of the South front door. The basement was being used as classrooms.😊
@@nanabarker8140 I don't think this was ever a church. I guess we will never know.

Some of the houses in your videos are in trust because the owners are in old folks homes.
They are not abandoned so please keep that in mind
You definatly deserve more subscribes. ❤
The "gold-plating" is ordinary glass mosaic ;D
Looks like this house is being remodeled.
Not remolded people stealing the flooring.
Looks like u pretend u love ur loser to cover up the fact ur cheating on him
Just stumbled across your channel. So glad i did. I love it bro.
Beautiful house they always want to tear the nice houses down that house could be remodeled and somebody could buy it
sometimes I wonder how these peoples brains work when styling a home. the layouts are weird and a lot of wasted space. this house was based on the stairs to each room. great video,
It's still a beautiful home I would do some renovation on it and live
This is my absolute dream home.
I like this Castle Mansion House very much. Thank you.
Carlos I am sorry for your loss. Omar told us through Moe wedding video. My prayers are with you and your family. Greetings from Houston.

Good thing you saw this one before it got demolished. Great vid as always Carlo .
Hi. Thanks for the tour. This was a odd house with a odd layout. Very strange. My legs ached at the look of all those stairs. Ouch! Large property. Demolition. Figures. Not surprised Take care.
Great find, but could you please slow down and the shaky and jerky movements made it hard to enjoy.
This is amazing!!! I love the design

Julie Fleiser this had to be one of the worst for not knowing what in the world they were doing!!!! WOW!!!!
@@tracimclaughlin6943 Sad thing is, there are a lot of contractors out there who do lousy work.
Julie Fleiser oh yes I agree... unfortunately that is the sad truth... 😌
I agree they should have put a pocket door in there.
WOW! Round and brick just doesn’t happen easily. Somebody employed a master mason to build that place!

It's a shame to see such a nice place go to waste and be tore down
Strange house and design too many levels thank you for showing!
Great Location.... Did u Ever Find-Out Why or What This Home Was Also Used For...The Entire Home/Structor LayOut was Really Odd..🙇🏼♀️
DOPE LOCATION!!!
Moe sargi tom my boy
Great videos!! Thank you for sharing. Would love to see some of these properties in person
why demolish a house this beautiful? seems as tho it would be worth it to restore and renovate then re-purpose the building instead of demo.
Nice Mansion! Thanks Carlo for sharing great content! Sincerely, Michele from beautiful Marin county northern California
These abandoned places should be renovated and turned into homeless shelter and orphanages to help people y demolish something so useful and awesomely made
That or be sold at much cheaper prices
I agree even the schools that are abandoned they should fix up & let homeless people live in them, awesome video Carlo
Carlo, what's up my bro nice to see some new vids!!

Carlo, I'm sorry about your mom, R.I.P., be strong, have a beer and stay close to your friends

Wow strange home but the staircases are absolutly gorgeous
As Peter Crenshaw, from the Three Investigators, would say:” I’ll buy a double helping of that”
Love your videos! Thank you for posting!
Omg can't cope with all the steps and doors. Fab video
Carlo you the man!!! Good works!
Darn me my relatives you your relatives could live there and never run into each other ha!
Not a castle...Very poorly planned design of a house. And tacky at that.
Sea Sands it was built in the mid 80s, an era of crazy designs
Sea Sands very tacky
You should really learn some basics things about architecture and building materials.
This place looks in too good of a condition to tear it down!?! I'm confused!!!
It looks like a a recovery facility to me
Well done Carlos!! Always a lit vid!!!
I'll tell you what the rounded rooms are for..... they are known as piano rooms. The shape of the room causes the music to sound like they've been amplified. The roundness causes the sound to echo outwards. The room with these rounded floor to ceiling windows is a sunroom.. love the house.
Actually the "sunroom" is a called an atrium.
Wow that place is set up so different than any I have ever seen but really cool. All those steps n different little levels
What a great place! The pool was a nice surprise.
hey carlo! im so sorry for your loss my heart goes out to you in this time!😚
Awesome find. Beautiful house
It's going to be demolished? Did the highway commission buy it? Such a nice place.
41k nice! Goodluck Carlo.
Neat house. It looked like there was alot of moisture on the center blocks in basement
New to your channel Carlo. Great find, wow that was a sick house. Good for you not revealing this place. It saddens me when people act like jerks. Hugs from Oregon

by the looks of the flooring.. it looks like someone was updating it at one time then stopped.
I understand not wanting vandalism, but what about trespassing? Meaning what the heck are you doing trespassing?
All urban explorers trespass you cant be that naive
Man what a beautiful castle. Too bad there is a lot of mold. Thats sad they are going to demolish it.
Getting ready to watch now... playing catch up due to the 2wk road trip vacay, but I'm here!! 😎❤️‼️
