What happens if your audio is an actual video you’ve imported? Like the video itself has images of its own but you wanna just animate over it? It doesn’t seem like I can block out the images of the video without also removing its sound too.
I know this is late but if you tap on the “red film button” it should say “filter”, there you can change the opacity of the video to zero. Only problem is that there’s a limit to how many videos you can add on one project.
I use a program called Envato Elements. For $17 a month it gives all royalty free music, sound effects, fonts, stock footage. Just about all you could ask for. As for free content, I’m not 100% sure. It gets tricky with third party “sketchy” sites.

Mine isn't working. I converted an audio file to mp3, added it to Files. Added file in ProCreate. Selected the mp3. Nothing happens. I don't get an "importing" message, and there is no audio. I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. The track is only 1 minute long, and about 1.3mb in size. Edit: I deleted the empty track and tried again, and it worked. So apparently audio has to be the first thing that's added? I don't know. I'll do some tests, but it'd be weird if you can't add audio later, as sound fx would be added later, I'd imagine.
Three things. One, have you updated to the latest version of Dreams? Two, have you force closed it and reopened? And three, have you restarted your iPad? If none of these work let me know. I had it glitch at first myself while learning this.
MP3, 1:21 i love the slideover etc on ipad in landscape orientation. Open 2 apps side by side. In this case Procreate Dreams and Procreate. Beware: if you do a 50/50 split view, otherwise the Procreate app at than that width will only give you”preview. Smaller devices, ouch! Best on iPad Pro.

I’ve run into that a couple of times. Seems to be a slight glitch. If you hard close the app and reopen it should be fine. If it doesn’t work, it may be the audio file itself.
If you are importing onto the same track, it will move the animated layers to the end of the imported. If you create a second track and import the file onto it, it won’t move the already placed drawings
That may have been part of one of the recent updates. I’ll have to give it another shot with .wav. I will be making another video covering some of the changes.

Why can’t I animate all the audio? Like the rest of the audio is grayed out
It has to do with your set duration when you created the project. You can change it when you go to your settings on that project

Everytime I import a file, it gets rid of the drawing animation layers. Is that supposed to happen?
