Her mother's comments say exactly who she is & why. Why was this young girl living at her boyfriend's house? Why was this allowed by either parent? Why were they all allowed to do drugs like it's nothing? Why would her mother allow her to go out a few months after their deaths dressed like a corpse for Halloween? This is a failure by many & unfortunately resulted in the loss of lives by two young men.
The only thing McKenzie is sorry for is her sentence... She definitely did it on purpose and didn't even care about the deaths.. She's only sad they convicted her.🇺🇸
Ick. Her mom’s testimony is gross. She is so out of touch. Worried about Facebook messages?! Are you fucking serious?! Two people died! She did it on purpose. Who cares if she admits to remembering it or not. Just another selfish, spoiled young person who can’t stand being held accountable. After hearing her mom, it’s no surprise why.
I was in a very bad accident over 30 years ago and still have no memory of what happened 5 minutes before and 30 minutes after, so she may very well not remember the accident itself. *BUT* she had planned on killing her BF well before they even got into the car that night, so what she does or doesn't remember about the accident itself is immaterial. Unfortunately, the other poor kid was in the wrong place at the wrong time, although she easily could've let him out or dropped him off somewhere first. But she didn't, which really shows how much of a cold-hearted f****** c*** @$$ ***** she is, and always will be.
Its not about that. I'm sure they were disappointed in her but ANY parent would fight for their kid not to go to jail. Also, it is not always the parents fault- sometimes kids go rogue or have mental issues. You can't blame the mom, have some compassion.
I think her 'okays' are just here acknowledging to herself that she checked the box she felt obligated to say. Like she was just doing chores and was reviewing her to-do list. - Laundry "Okay" Dishes "Okay" So ingenuine
I don’t think I’ll ever understand why criminals are allowed to serve their sentences concurrently. Especially if convicted of more than one count of murder. She killed two people. Not one. She should serve two consecutive sentences, otherwise it’s like she’s only being punished for one murder.
The fact that her and her mother thought she could even be a model is ridiculous. Her false eyelashes are probably adhered to the airbag. Now she can walk the runway to the exercise yard. She should have had her sentences run consecutively.
Some abusers use speeding cars to terrorise their target. My mother used to threaten my life like that, by speeding up very violently to shut me up. I've seen another guy do that to his girlfriend... I happened to be in the car too. I suspect it's actually pretty common.
I hope these families of these boys are at this girls parole hearing on the 15th year and fight to keep her in prison. She doesn't deserve her freedom. She got it easy.... She should have gotten LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE!!!!!

I still do not find any evidence to support the charge of murder. She's just an emotional young girl, taking risks while driving. I mean, that's every teenager. These charges are absurd and lack any evidence. So she one time drove that same route slowly...and so, she must have planned out a murder? What they heck are the prosecution smoking?

@@j_3.16 , the victims law team were dedicated to spin her actions as cold and calculated murder, and this was not proven in court and I would say there's no preponderance of evidence that can make that claim either. If I remember right, they tried to say that since she was seen on camera taking that route in particular, which is on a public roadway that anyone can access with any car. They say that this route wasn't one that she'd normally take and so, she them must have been planning a murder, which by the way includes a plan of wrecking her own vehicle and risking her own life to pull it all off. It's quite a reach to say this young woman, is guilty for cold and calculated murder, using her own vehicle as the weapon. Then this plan she made employs the use of her own car as the death bringer to her victims, while being a guardian angel to her own life. This lawyer team only had to state this glorified storyline that she's a cold blooded murderer, to convince the stupid jury. I don't mean that to insult any jury, but they are mostly ignorant to case law and the value of supportive evidence. The lawyers were indeed smart to push this narrative, as it punishes her more and satisfies the vengeful hearts of these grieving clients. Now there's something to be stated about her apparent narcissism and lack of empathy, but needless to say, such mental conditions or imbalances aren't criminal, and so her behavior after killing her friends, in her own car, shouldn't be used to judge her entire character outside of her own experiences coping with this tragedy.
@@1stfloorguy59 , if you're a bus driver and had an accident that killed 29 people, then you're not at fault unless it's proven, eith good evidence, that the accident was caused by negligence, drugs, or...It was no accident at all and a narrative can be established to argue for malice. Case n point...I used to know a chick in the late 90s that drove a Honda Del Sol like a bat outta hell running from the dogs of war. Eventually I was smart enough to avoid ever riding with her ever again since her fast driving was deficient of any wisdom or experience for the car's limits. She put all her passengers at risk every single time, and she was not lacking in empathy outside of her driving habits. She simply drive fast and couldn't stand to go slow, stating that she drives safer that way. Now even though such a wild statement is akin to a drunk saying they need to drink to drive better, she still wouldn't be at fault for malice if she ended up killing me or anyone else sitting in that passenger seat. She would get something like vehicular homicide and maybe some charge of negligence towards the disregard of general safety and expectation of it while a passenger is in the car. My point is, the courts are really stretching this narrative that she planned this murder, with intent to kill, using her own car that she herself is within. Clearly there would be better ideas than to risk her own life. So what did they do to solve that issue? They tried to argue that she was suicidal.
15 years is an insult to the 2 people she murdered. She should have gotten life without parole. Her parents should be in jail as well. They gave a murderer a car, which is as dangerous as a gun. Terrible terrible people. God bless.

Wow, Mackenzie's mom, what a speech, that's typical Narcissistic behavior, they absolutely cannot be seen in a bad light, will always pass blame onto others, and it runs in the family. They are extremely manipulative, which explains why Mackenzie and Dominic would fight, break up, then get back together so often, it's not easy to see when you're involved with one, but when you finally get free you can see it clear as day.
Her mother is simply protecting her daughter, and rightfully so, as the courts gave her charges that don't match any evidence. She didn't plan anything out, she's just an emotional teen like all the rest of them. So she didn't show enough depression on social media after their deaths? Well, we do know she lacks emotional control so, how should we expect her to react? So she dressed up like a corpse on Haloween? Certainly noones ever does that.. No way. I have watched this a few times now, and I'll have to dig deeper because for the life of me, I cannot imagine any fair court system prosecuting this young women for murder with malice, unless that is, her jury were poisoned by sensationalism and the cries for vengeance by the family and friends of the victim of a terrible car accident. That's what it was afterall ya know; a terrible car accident. Certainly, she aint the first teenager to recklessly drive very fast with other teenagers. 🤔
You can’t learn in 5 minutes what kind of person someone is. You can judge them in 5 minutes, but you can’t fall in love and think wow this is such a great person in 5 minutes. Of course this defendant would do anything she could given 5 minutes with the judge to be the most upstanding citizen and steal the heart of the judge that is about to give her a sentence. What a eye rolling comment her mother made about that.
It’s difficult to watch this mother defending her daughter’s murderous actions. Even after the evidence is presented she is still trying to lighten things. This is probably the first time in this girl’s life she’s ever had to pay the consequences for her actions.

That she knew it was over is why he’s dead. Personality disordered individuals can sense when you’re starting to see through them
Her mother's comments say exactly who she is & why.

Mom's right. Her daughter isn't a murderer. She's a double-murderer. 15 years is just not enough IMHO. My heart goes out to the victim's families and those police and fire-crews that had to deal with all that carnage.

@@phoenixmistertwo8815wrongfully? Hell no. 2 people are dead. She's still walking. The statement it self and your idea of who is suffering more is beyond idiotic. That's like saying if you killed 29 people on accident driving a bus your pain is greater than 29 family's of the victims. GTFO
God bless.
