- Finding a camp spot along the Brazilian coast has been super difficult! We have to work hard for a place to spend the night. Sleepy beach towns in the off season seem to work!
We are heading SOUTH! We make a stop to finally check out the vegan versions of Brazil's famous foods. The chef and owner is SO friendly and stops for a chat with us.
After rebounding with a great day finish the night with some police officer neighbors. Watch until the end to find out what happens!
It seemed like these couple of days nothing was working out for us. It was the little wins with tasty vegan food or a quiet campsite that make it all worth it!

About the police car. It was written "ronda escolar". So, policemen were just checking the public schools. It's kind of common in Brazil.

Bolsonaro was the best president Brazil ever had but the communists Lulistas not only robbed him of the presidency but made sure to make him ineligible for the next 8 years, that's how corrupt Brazil is. Brazilians are already feeling the consequences of having a radical dictator and communist like Lula for president.

Nice video (s) but it would be nice if you gave us a clear description of the location where you are in that moment, maybe a city label on the screen, of for a place you liked like that vegan restaurant for those of us that might like to visit it or the location of the beach/park where you camped so we can follow you on Google maps. I follow other van-lifer's and it's a joy to follow along on the map, learn more about the places they visited. It would make your channel better.

Glad you found many of the things that are important to you -- I agree that beach towns in the off-season ought to work really well. Especially in that climate. Might be my favorite?
Just a note about vegan and other diets -- you may not notice until you get older, but the amino acids that you can only get from meat, nuts and eggs are vital for your body's ability to process all the inputs into the forms needed over the long haul. Eggs are actually the only food that contains all the Amino acids. I'm no expert, so would just suggest that whatever diet someone chooses to abide by, for whatever reasons they may have (no judgement), to carefully consider how they are going to get these essential amino acids. You both are very intelligent and practical and seem to be in good health -- just wanted to put that out there for consideration. In recent years I've noticed how consuming too little meat seems to affect me and I do turn to eggs often more than meat (still not vegan approved, I know).
None the less I enjoy vegan meals and gluten-free baking as well. I think they all have a place in certain quantities and often depends on the individual.

Glad the cops didn't get after you, however, it would have been nice if they wouldn't have parked behind you with their lights going. I'm always interested in the vegan meals you have. They looks so good. I usually eat whatever I can afford and the only thing I'm hardline about is I only eat Kosher, and from there I eat poor which usually means pasta, rice & beans, and breads. Sometimes I'll have beef or chicken but not very often. I also watch myself on processed foods due to sodium as that's so bad for water retention. I really loved your presentation of info about eating vegan and that you did so in the manor that you did. You two are so kind and gentle in all that you do. Sombrita sure had fun! She's so well behaved! Getting your animals young and raising them helps them become like their humans. And Graham is the most extraordinary cat I've ever seen! Thank you for sharing your journey with us!

I really try to limit my meat consumption, especially pork. Pigs are smarter than dogs and cats.

I love you guys video, but disagree with vegan diet, I tried all kinds of ways of eating and the only thing that helped my health was the keto way but I mostly eat eggs and fatty beef , like chuck roast and ground beef and my type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure and aches and pains went away. My blood work is now the best it’s ever been and I’m 52 years old. I have eating this way for a little over 2 years and It’s great and my health is so much improved since then and not on any more medications. But we got to do what works for us. And the land get cleared out for plants too. The cattle does not affect the environment the processed food and all that packaging does. Got to cut carbs, sugars and processed foods , that will save us and the planet;) The big corporations and government is the main reason we have so many health issues, they tell us to eat more carbs and that’s the real reason for all the health problems including and mostly sugar( high fructose sugar) causing our health problems:( Pray your journey continues to do great and love your videos and hope all is well for your future journey 🥰

Can someone explain to me why CO2 is bad.I was under the impression that plants require it and in turn they create oxygen.If. there is lots of CO2 plants should be flourishing.Soil captures carbon and plants like grass absorb it in their roots.As long as you don't till the soil the earth makes a great carbon storage unit.I believe that we are being suckered here in Canada where we pay a carbon tax.How does a tax help the planet.Not dissin you for being vegan everybody has a free choice.I love all earths creatures.Right beside my potatoes and gravy.
Humans are the only species to feed their offspring milk from another species. If people knew how their food was grown, killed and processed they would be appalled. I'm not vegan but I eat very little meat from medical issues I have. It doesn't digest. Thanks for sharing. Great video as usual.
