Yeah, I also think one drawback to security breach was that prior to Security Breach, Steel Wool were PRIMARILY making VR games. So security breach was the first time they made a non VR game. I don’t hate the fnaf VR games, but it definitely won’t be as special or unique if they keep making VR games and don’t do regular games.

I don’t think fnaf should continue taking the vr route to tell this new story. Though the help wanted games are cool they limit the amount of people that get to play it. Now steel wool try to make up for this by making flat mode versions but the problem with that is that the flat modes just suck because the game wasn’t meant to be experienced that way. I’m fine having a vr title every now and then as they are a fun scary times but the series should still have normal games be the focus.

I feel the same with FNAF as with Marvel right now. Pizza Simulator is my Endgame and the new content is just for fun and not canon in my head.

I mean tbf, not nearly as much of the old lore as previously thought was actually changed, and SB appears to really only be a one-off concerning the quality of the franchise. However, I honestly agree that regardless, a lot of it definitely does feel very different from the old era in a lot of ways
