Hey Biffa, when you've got people complaining about noise pollution in 5:25 it's because of the industrial road, upgrade that to a road with trees and it will definitely help!
Here's an idea for you, when you're beautifying stuff, like that park, why dont you use some of those rocks you keep moving around instead of plopping down new ones? 😉
32:29 Needs a metro stop here between the stadium and the (mostly) residential area. Would give residential access to train-metro hub and university, as well as the industrial area, and also give access to the stadium from the train-metro hub.

It appears that since your parking lots are under the "corners" of the stadium, that as vehicles enter, they vanish. You could throw some prop cars in there to make it look like someone's actually at the stadium!
Makes sense. You've got that high capacity line right there, why not make it as convenient as possible for people to use it to get to the stadium? I think when calculating trips and deciding their pathing, including use of mass transit, they'll take into account the length of the walk between their home and the nearest stop at one end and the nearest stop and their destination at the other. If the walk makes the trip too long, they'll just default to their cars and you get TRAFFIC and empty metros.
Another idea for 'forcing" trains to take the middle tracks is to change the speed limit for the outer tracks to very slow since they are supposed to stop there anyway. This should encourage both cargo and passenger trains that won't stop at that station to choose the fastest route.
Google has the capacity for that stadium at 80K, but yeah not sure every one wants to use the metro to go events when the walk is that far and only parking for the sports stars and VIPs
Can I buy some of the open property near the stadium? I would like to pave a huge area and charge $10 a car to park for events at the stadium. Rock solid business plan here.
Please go to Google Maps with satellite view and search for "Tokyo Olympic Stadium". It has no car parking around it. Cities with public transport -- like New Tealand -- need no car parking around their stadiums. See also the Olympic Stadiums of Rome, London, Munich, Barcelona, Seoul, Stockholm.
In Madrid the Vicente Calderon stadium had one of the main roads of the zone going under with a tunnel. Maybe you can do something similar with the highway and sunk it under the stadium and make it look cooler.
Seattle (kind of) does that with Interstate 5, which runs down the middle of the city; the city planers decided to build a convention center on top of it. Which is a fine use of space, but it completely prevents the road from being expanded, as all the support pillars for the building on top of them are drilled down into the area now. So, they basically created a bottleneck for traffic.
Biffa is literally my teacher at this point. I have gotten EVERY single one of my game-changing mods from his steam list and learnt every single skill and detailing technique from HIM. Weird to think back to the time where i used to play on xbox and had no mods and not a clue about lane changing and heaven knows about nodes, thankyou Biffa !!
The cargo trains taking the outer track on that station were doing so because that isn't a bypass station. I'm pretty sure it has platforms on the middle tracks as well. You could leave it as is now that you restricted the lane use, or you could replace it with the bypass station.
"How'd your dad die Timmy?" "He had a problem with the rocks." "Oh, he was a crack head?" "No, he played Cities Skylines." I find it odd that you refuse to delete rocks that are in your way, but when you go to decorate an area you never go and grab those rocks that you moved. You always just spawn in a new one. My suggestion for what you should do with the empty space between the highway and on-ramp by the stadium is a nice water feature. Any time you have a small space that you don't know what to do with it is an opportunity for a water feature.
Completely with you there on the water feature...just imagine a fountain system like infront of Ceasar Palace hotel...damn that will be a thing of beauty ❤️

Nice stadium, with a stadium of this size I think you need a metro station right there with a some commercial and it will be more realistic of U have one of those multi level carparks maybe in that empty plot
You need a metro station to serve the residential district and the stadium. The bus line won't be enough, and the metro at the Uni is too far away. Might as well build up a small Entertainment district around it - all the people visiting the stadium are going to need pizza and beer after the matches. Biffa! For the blank spot near the stadium, you need a huge car park to accomadate the amount of spectators!, can have a small footbridge leading over the the park near the stadium too. Loving this playthrough of New Tealand

With all the visitors to the stadium I would imagine that a Metro stop at the stadium or at the residential area might be helpful in reducing traffic in the area. Also, FYI, the Tokyo Olympic stadium was indeed built and it is massive. It happened to be very close to my wedding venue. Shame about Corona ruining the games.
Okie seen it now@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines and another nice video as usual. 1 thing, about the train and the middle track usage. Would a trainline going through that station where you shut off industrial trains for passengers still use the outer tracks? Could you fix it so that a throughline for passengers would use the middle track instead of one of the outer ones (and perhaps get stuck behind another train) by increasing the speed on the middle track?
Delighted to hear your procedure had no complications and you are healing well. Must have been superb to hug your parents again!! Really enjoyed this video too. 😊
Kudos, DCI Biffa for plopping the med center atop the house with a crime in progress. They were probably being murdered over tea and that's what the neighbors next door heard. 🤣 Thanks for another enjoyable episode. Keep up the good work!

You could join the 4 lane street and right lane of highway with an Y shape to allow incoming traffic as well . And on the roundabout, make a small gate to enter the stadium area through the park.
I would like if you could incorporate some gorgeous fountain system for example like in front of Ceasar Palace hotel in that empty corner area near the Olympic Stadium...that will be just mesmerizing. Please give it a thought. 🙏🙏🙏
so glad to hear your procedure went well & what a lovely new stadium! pls make sure nobody else has to drive and crash and die into the train support pillar at 36:10
That area between the stadium and the roundabout that you spent ages beautifying would be a prime spot for some hotels/a leisure district. Just a thought, love the city!
I love how Biffa says he's gonna use the available area to grow and get to the next population level. Then changes 3 min in and adds a stadium. Few episodes before that, nah.... University instead. 🤣 Love your videos. Keep up the good work Biffa!
Delighted you're back and all better. I'm also glad you seem to have solved your 'stutters', but I just thought I'd mention that I use the Lifecycle Rebalance Revisited 1.5.4 mod and have no issues, so that might not have been the cause....
Hope you're doing well Biff I had 4 wisdom teeth out with some stitches issues as well. Uncomfortable time but not the end of the world. Good to have you back!
At 11:50 you have a freight train crossing over into the wrong 'lane' as it bypasses the station. You could make the bypass lines one way only to stop this, and give them higher speed limits compared to the section where the trains stop to make them choose to follow the correct path - therefore anything not stopping at the platforms will naturally elect to use the bypass line for their direction
Biffa, remember to give the Building Spawn Points mod a try. It's made by the mod creator that made the Node Controller Mod. Great video as always and can't wait for your 5B1C guest appearance.
Really like the look of the stadium, but all that big open space on the right side over the road should realistically be a massive parking lot to accommodate visitors :D

Looking forward to seeing this, can see you added the new spawning point to your mod list :D
Already done :-)
Noticed @@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines
Saw Yumble showing it off and I was hooked right on the spot, that mod is now one of my favourites
The stadium looks such a nice place to visit ! 😍
How do you even manage and make everything look so delightful?!!
You're such a good builder !
maybe the new mod cose the delays in zoning and odthers stuff
Delighted to hear your procedure had no complications and you are healing well. Must have been superb to hug your parents again!! Really enjoyed this video too. 😊
Thanks! Vicki Rothe. Yes it was :-)
0hours gang where u at
Yo yo yo yo yo yo 🤝
Kudos, DCI Biffa for plopping the med center atop the house with a crime in progress. They were probably being murdered over tea and that's what the neighbors next door heard. 🤣 Thanks for another enjoyable episode. Keep up the good work!
Biffa says: Healthcare isn’t the best...
Me: MURICA!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hey Biffa, Allegiant Stadium is in Vegas and it's the home of the Raiders. They just finished it last Summer if I'm not mistaken. Glad to see it's in the workshop! I'll have to add that to my collection. FYI, would love to see you and Egg start up a collaboration.
On the top left of the campus where the old quarry is would be a great place for student housing! We could just call it the quarry at blank university!
🙏🙏🙏
The Elk oil area if you were to change the name you could call it the Oil-Tea Free area, just like royalty free lol
so glad to hear your procedure went well & what a lovely new stadium! pls make sure nobody else has to drive and crash and die into the train support pillar at 36:10
That area between the stadium and the roundabout that you spent ages beautifying would be a prime spot for some hotels/a leisure district.
Just a thought, love the city!
I think the park next to the stadium is absolutely gorgeous, the red bushes really catch the eye. I would do some walkie-walkies there, for sure :)
I love how Biffa says he's gonna use the available area to grow and get to the next population level. Then changes 3 min in and adds a stadium. Few episodes before that, nah.... University instead. 🤣
Love your videos. Keep up the good work Biffa!
That extra junction you put on to the high way people where coming round the corner on two wheels, crazy drivers
For reference, the longest direct train journey in the UK is from Aberdeen to Penzance. It does go through Birmingham New Street.
Catwalk from the station to the stadium should look good. Your cities are always looking beautiful.
Delighted you're back and all better. I'm also glad you seem to have solved your 'stutters', but I just thought I'd mention that I use the Lifecycle Rebalance Revisited 1.5.4 mod and have no issues, so that might not have been the cause....
The little empty space between the stadium & the junction or in the middle of the roundabout needs to be an Olympic rings garden.
Hope you're doing well Biff
I had 4 wisdom teeth out with some stitches issues as well. Uncomfortable time but not the end of the world. Good to have you back!
Yikes! All good thanks :-)
I only had 3 of those pulled...
@@PerfectAlibi1 you can appreciate 4 then. Hope you're doing well

Been years ago, and it wasn't really that bad.
Good work on the stadium! Maybe a bus drop off and a pedestrian bridge in the small gap left over so the lads can get over on match day!
The shots of the stadium after detailing looks like an advert for why the Olympics should be held in that city! :)
"that's what she said!" really made me giggle... that stadium area looks great, especially with that metro going past it! put a pedestrian bridge or tunnel from the big station over to the garden area to get people from the metro! or don't... don't wanna backseat game here lol...
I love biffa's videos. He has a amazing future ahead of him in the future of his amazing channel.
Cockney and "that's what she said joke" really make a very strong vid opening :D. I swear I spend more time watching your vids of the game than playing it!
Another great insertion, ("That's what She said"). Brilliant timing, your installment ended at the same time as I took my last sip of 'hops tea'.
Putting the highway underneath the stadium could look great too. A bit like the Amsterdam Arena / Johan Cruyff Arena.
BIffa: forever moving rocks around to save them. Landscapes new area, puts in new rocks, and forgets about the saved rocks.
I saw the pillar for the Metro in the highway at 36:11, but it looks like you fix that by the end of the vid. well done Biffa. Thanks for your content and that you are doing well after your visit to the white coats. :0)
Residents will often complain about noise from high density commercial. Low density commercial and offices don't cause noise complaints. I've found that it works really well to put a 4 square deep set of office or low density commercial between residential and high density commercial zones as a kind of noise barrier.
For The huge size of The new stadium, I think you’ve got Way to little parking for The fans 😉💪🏻 but a Nice place! More parking somewhere near stadium and it would be brilliant 🤩
