I love it! I bought the set a few days ago..I was a huge lego pirate fan as a kid back in the 90s. I just couldn't say no to this set. Especially since when I was a kid I never got a pirate ship. I have waited 27 years, roughly the same amount of time Captain Redbeard and his mates were stranded on that island, to have my own lego pirate ship. It was worth it! Thanks for this video it brings back cherished memories!

What a wonderful stop motion Video ! I bought this set 1 month ago and I re-start lego pirates and imperial soldiers, too. Hopefully there will be lots of pirates and imperial soldiers set to be issued with minimum 2,000 bricks continuously. Please lego designers see this comments!

I'd like to think that during the storm where the Barracuda was presumed lost, the pirates had a crew mate named Jose 'Old Neptune' Barnacles, and he saved Captain Redbeard, but at the cost of his own life. Therefore, when the crew set up the inn, they decided to name it 'Jose's Inn' in his honor, 'cause what better way to honor a fallen comrade? A nice reference to the real story of the set as well as give and in story and backstory on the name of the inn.

There is so much work behind this video, I can't imagine how long it must have taken.
How many frames per pieces? It looks so fluid when pieces are added, so it's obviously more than one (which most others stop motion videos do).
Also, it must have required so much patience to build the ship this way, instead of following the instructions where you build the parts of the ship separately from the base, making it easier. Especially the masts lol.

Thank you so much for the extra effort that you put into this. I notice that you took a shot of the piece on top of the studs and than another after it is pushed into the studs. It gave it a super awesome bounce effect that I never seen before. That means you put at least twice as much effort into this stop motion than a regular one would have had.

Brilliant idea. Can i request u do the sea setting similar like on the boxes back in the days ? They used some sort of color pencil for the sea. I think it will bring back lots of nostalgia to all of us. Thanks.

I wish they made a new version of Red beard Runner you think it wuldive been the MAIN ship for Red beard. I'd love to see that still have the same set up with the falling mast and falling Skull but have Details for a full Captains cabbin and a top deck like the one from the new Baracuda 6 cannons top and bottom levels 3 sails on 3 masts
