I went with the casual look for the panel interview today and now I'm gonna have a final interview tomorrow with the director. A corporate attire is recommended by the HR. I'm not quite sure how I should look in a corporate look or what ideal corporate look I should go with. Someone help me. 😔

I got a car detailing job interview today don’t think I need to be to formal but I do have a nice button down shirt and dress shorts that I wore to my sisters college graduation might go with that or might just throw jeans on and a shirt. I’m 19 don’t really know what they expect to see walking in

I know what you mean, but I disagree about them not having dealt with interviews. I think everyone has been interviewed at some point and we all have opinions on how to dress for an interview. You don't need recruiting experience to do so, but it's definitely helpful to get the insights from the recruiter's (company's) perspective.

Hi, I am happy to hear that the business casual outfit worked out nicely for you. You can definitely recreate a similar outfit, maybe change the shirt or sweater. You already know the dress code of your company and if Business Casual works, then stick to it. You can always improve it by adding up a blazer too.

The hotel industry is quite picky about the outfits. So the first choice would be a suit, if you do not have one maybe you could borrow one from someone you know with a similar size? If not a suit, dressing nicely with your white or light blue long sleeve shirt, a tie and tailored pants, belt and shoes to match, would still work well. I am sure you can pull it off well :)

Being in software, out dressing the interviewer is a serious concern for me! I can find a no way to predict exactly where to put my limits for these cases; some of people working in the industry are quite well dressed as well.
Not sure if I understand what you mean, but I don't think you should worry about out dressing the interviewers. You should dress according to your taste just following a few interview guidelines.

Hi Krisrey, it depends a lot on the establishment, if you haven't been to it, check their social media. Unless it's a place where their uniforms are suits and ties, you will do great with a Business Casual look.

Of course you can tuck the shirt and wear a tie with it. Just make sure that the shirt isn't with prints on it if you are planning to go for a tie. From what you are saying, just a formal shirt with formal or chino pants should do, it will work even in a casual environment.
It doesn't have to be any specific brand. It should be the clothes you feel comfortable with, by any store/brand. As long as they match with the dress code you consider for your interview.

If you don't want to wear a jacket, you can go for smart business casual look: wear the shirt and tie you mention, and a sweater/jersey on top (like the business casual of this video but with a tie). If you apply for a job with a Virgin Group company, I would advise against wearing a tie in the interview. You see, Sir Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin Group, hates ties. As in absolutely bloody *hates* them. He has vowed that no employee at any Virgin company will have to wear a tie. Ever. So if you avoid wearing a tie to an interview with a Virgin Group company, that'll show that you've done your research!
If you are unsure of the dress code, I would suggest a few "safe" dark colours such as dark navy blue, dark grey and black, for a shirt it will have to be the opposite light options: white, light blue, beige... Good luck :)

Car salesmen usually dress formal. Go for a suit during the interview, you can always dress more casual if you get the job.
