My wife is a new Christian and I've prayed for her every night since we've been married. (I did not tell her this) I prayed for Jesus to give her dreams of him and one night it happened. She told me one morning after about 3 months that she dreamed of Jesus. She said that she was running scared and there was a large group of people who were angry and chasing her. As she was running she said she saw a tall man in white and he looked down towards her. He told her to stand behind him and said that he would keep her safe. He then addressed the people to leave her alone and move on. All of the people chasing her left her alone with Christ.
stop praying for people, that's interfering with her free will, and do you think god hasn't noticed her? giving god advice "hey god you missed this one" is not a good idea.
This comment is way out of left field… how is someone praying for their unsaved wife to be saved a bad thing? The Bible literally tells us to do this (1st Tim 2:1-3)

Came here to say the same thing. Sri Lanka has a completely different history than India even if they may have similar physical features.
Keralite here- yes the distinction is important. She is of Sri-Lankan heritage, although the difference here is that she is ethnically Tamil- which means she traces her roots to Tamil Nadu in India. So she is both Sri-Lankan by nation of origin and culturally and ethnically Tamil.

My accent was not and still isn’t typically Singaporean. Former Prime Minister Lee speaks with a similar accent but he did his undergraduate degree at Cambridge. 🤷🏽♂️

What many commenters were not addressing was her Britishness. It’s as relevant as her parents’ ethnic background to making her the person she is.
I’ve heard Prime Minister Lee of Singapore speak and while his standard of conversational English is good, his accent is not identifiable as ‘BBC neutral’ whatever you may think that to be.
Why do I say this? Because I was born, bred and have lived in London for 95% of my life. MIA’s English upbringing in her younger years reflects her accent, it’s an upbringing that reflects her time living in Mitcham, south London, which is just a few miles away from where I have always lived. I have more than 50 years lived experience of interacting with many different people in London and MIA speaks with an impeccable Home Counties pronunciation of being a natural from London.
But you’re free to carry on shrugging your shoulders if you don’t understand this.

Her story is so interesting. Her father was a political activist on Sri Lanka. We were there during the recent ousting of the president. A truly beautiful county which has a fascinating history.

I have an interesting painting i did of her that reflected a really dark time i was in which i praise God came out of and now this feels full circle to me that she too was in a "dark" other god following place and now has found the Most High. I think what they are saying is, does she believe the gospel? Did this dream lead her to repent and believe or did she just have a dream and think now she is saved

Sri Lanka is predominantly Buddhist, not Hindu. Although Tamils in Sri Lanka, like myself are originally from India. MIA is also from Tamil Sri Lankan not Indian.

Just look at all the different cultures that were affected by Jesus before the council of Nicaea pulled it all together and decided what was to be kept and what was to be ditched. Also I believe that the Roman’s adopted Christianity as it was spreading like wildfire among their troops, who were starting to graffiti crosses everywhere, scratching crosses into stone and buildings, from one end of the empire to the other, from Hadrian’s wall which the Romans built to keep the tribes of Scotland out of the Roman Empire which ended in England at the border with Scotland, down to North Africa and across to the Middle East. Jesus was relating to the downtrodden, the cannon fodder and the oppressed. They adopted it to prevent revolution.
