Not picking the 5 armor spell when having 30+ gold and being on 12 life, knowing your opponent has a big 6 drop + a 4 drop is so stupid. Insetad he rolled like 15-20 times and bought a few singular magnetics..
One more turn of scaling and he would have won that thing. Absolute rookie plays

Not de-taunting his beatboxer when he had the opportunity was also a big misplay considering that leeroy and bramblewitch were pretty much the only ways that he could lose.
He also had a free taunt to put on Brann, Enchanter and Old Murkeye, which would also get him the 1st place. But never lucky, I guess.

beatboxer could have gotten another taunt any moment from the battlecries, i dont think it would have made much difference
@ragerunner436 pants makes it so it can no longer gain taunt from most things.
@yourbranman uuuuuum no?? That's plain wrong, it just removes taunt if the targeted minion has taunt at this moment, it doesn't make your minion untauntable.
@@ragerunner436 Pants makes it so that it won't get taunt again, even if a taunt magnetic is used- watch some other videos or google it.
@@ragerunner436no, he’s right… Though I don’t know to what extent; it doesnt get retaunted if you remove it with pants… glitch? Perhaps. But I’ve had one taunted, one non-taunted, then tripled and it was untaunted(after pants’ing the one untaunted when it had taunted.)

the real misplay was untaunting the small mech and not beatboxer
he pretty much always taunts or untaunts the wrong minion.
Why not use pants on the beatboxer? Did blizz make it so it will get taunt after using it?
it removes taunt but when he when his end of turn effects go off it would regain the taunt from the murlock activating the battlecries

they could move Clunker Junker back down to 4, but make it read either “Choose a Mech in the Tavern” or “Choose a Mech in your hand”
Im not sure if you will ever see this comment but i learned a lot of hearthstone from you, i dont play it consistently anymore but on and off i do come here to check on what is happening.
I just made a decent gaming system recently and realized I could play Hearthstone as well. I appreciate your consistency on Hearthstone, looking forward to understand what the current changes are here.

yeah mechs are definitely feeling much weaker and more inconsistent but it's understandable considering how good and consistent it was before
Can someone please explain why he chose Redemption over Venomstrike Trap in the first fights? Isn't Venomstrike just objectively better? He never gets to keep the secret, right, since his minion only has 1 health?
Because if his minion attacks first then it would be a tie or even a potential loss, picking redemption makes it so he most likely wins or ties
New patch is just wild. Lesser undead trinket is busted 😂
The only nerf Blizzard should do is making Murk-Eye start of Combat or remove it. This Cards is the only reason Mechs and Quilboars scale way to much
apart from the balance, the worst thing about battlegrounds is how god damned slow the animations and combats are.
Combats should start going 2x 3x 4x speed as the combat goes on and animations in general just take way too long.

This card got nerfed a few weeks ago, it's not a change in the most recent patch
I was watching his stream today with the newest patch and I'm pretty sure I even saw him running just normal non-battlecry enabled mechs with just the end of turn buffers and crushing lol
The price you sometimes pay for making videos way ahead of time. You end up with some interesting takes that age like milk.
seems like these videos are further and further from live
my brain is still working too slow. there are alot of decisions to make especially when there is no clear path to what u are bulding towards.

why the fuck are so many poeple hating on his one misplay. he's at the top 5% mmr a place most of you probably have never played before. look at the bottom its 1 am he was probably tired. and with that much gold you dont exactly get a lot of time to think. he was probably just going off of vibes at what he felt was right in that moment and wasnt thinking about it.

7.4k is top 5% of all BG players. At the end of the video we see he’s at 7.1k. Which means he’s like top 10%. 6.4k is top 20%. Which I feel like for most peoples standards is still really good. So saying a guy is consistently a top 20% player isn’t an insult
