As level as your ground is, that turkey shed would be very easy to roll along the ground on four 4” PVC pipes. I use them to move coops three times that size and they can be used to move sheds as well.
No wheels required, just jack up one end of the shed and get one pipe slid under it, push the shed a couple feet along and slide another pipe underneath, then repeat as you roll it along. As one pipe emerges out the back, pick it up and run to the front to slide it back underneath as a “new” roller. EASY PEASY, and no breaking your back. A couple kids could move heavy objects this way, one kid pushing and the other kid moving the pipes to the front as needed.

Hey guys! I have an interesting idea for a new video or series. I’m sooo interested in breeding for feathering and egg colour and I’m having a hard time finding comprehensive and easy to understand info out there for beginners. Do you have any suggestions of good sources? Or have you and Becky experimented with other breedings for specific egg colours or feathering colours/patterns in your chickens? (Other than the Ayam Cemani & Black Copper Marans for chocolate eggs). The most confusing part for me is what’s recessive, what’s dominant, etc. and what you’re going to get. I know that’s half the fun and I definitely want to experiment and have some surprise mysteries, but I’d love to know all the things that I shouldn’t do so I don’t spend 2-3 years experimenting and then end up with a flock that’s all black and white birds 🤣🙈 Also I’ve heard you shouldn’t breed certain birds together like Lavender to Lavender because it creates a bad gene or something? My brain is going to explode lol. You guys might not have any interest in that, or it may be difficult with your set up and trying to keep them separated, so no obligation whatsoever, but I had to ask. You always have the best videos and I learn so much! I’m sure others could benefit from that as well. Just an idea. Keep up the great work, my friends ❤️

So sorry for your loss. Always so hard losing animals and birds. 😥 my daughter had 5 ducks something got into their locked shelter they stayed into at night and killed 3 the other 2 were never found. She kept them inside for 9 months then let them go outside they had a huge pond there were wild geese in there but as soon as they saw my daughter pull in or her fiance they ran as fast as they could to see them. They rode in the car with them she had diapers for them when they were inside. They loved them so much it was so hard on them to lose all of them they looked in the woods for weeks trying to find the other 2 but they never found them. They have a possum now they had some friends that found the mother dead as they were driving down a country road they saw movement so they stopped there was 1 baby that was laying next to mom they wrapped it in a towel and took it to them my daughter is used to baby animals when they were still at home I always had babies in my house. From rabbit's to birds to chipmunks I got them better and released them. Her possum is blind in one eye from the accident a car had killed Mom. And the other babies had died also. They have a huge cage and a hammock for him to lay in. His name is Harry. They love him to pieces. He watches TV with the kids. She has 4 kids 1 has already moved out. He is so precious. I just love how they have spoiled him to pieces ❤ again I'm so sorry. I hope you have better luck not losing anymore. You will be in my thoughts and prayers 🙏❤

I’m so glad your daughter has the heart to love and care for animals just as you do!! A stray cat was chasing the chickies and unfortunately the chick got into the duck water and was unable to get out. I performed CPR for a great while but my poor baby wasn’t responsive. I have such a great sense of responsibility in regards to my animals and I just feel like I let them down when something happens to one of them.

@@susansusan6612 well I'm just saying it wouldn't be uncommon even for the domesticated ones to do so as well, its not uncommon for any of them, even domestic ones to do such.

I have an Egyptian Fayoumi roster named obi. He is honestly my favorite chicken. He is very protective over his hens.

I always thought female ducks were called ducks. If the female is a hen, what do you call the male? A rooster? Most references say the male name is drake and the female name is duck. But, you referred to your Mandarin female as a hen. Can you explain why you call her a hen? Please?

There was this time not too long ago, it was a nice sunny day and I was letting my chickens free roam and they kinda went into the neighbors yard and dug in the leaves and I saw a chicken pick something up and run while the rest of them ran after her, I wanted to see what it was so I ran over to her, it was a dead raccoon frog, I'm not sure if they found it dead or they killed it, but I think it was already dead, I didn't know what to do with it so I gave it back to my chickens and they played tag around the yard with it until I think they abandoned it, not sure if they ate it or not.

I'm wondering if you have any garden birds around you. It would be really cool if you could film them, because in my opinion, they are amazing!!!

It's not weird. Mice are hella cute. As a homesteader myself, I still take measures to control them otherwise I'll have trouble storing or even harvesting some of my produce, but I love mice! It's too bad that they like to eat what I like to eat.

Why do you think that? Not hating just wondering. They let them out during the day, so really all they need is perches inside the coop, literally nothing else. Am I missing something?

I would love to purchase some Mandarin duck eggs. It is a dream of mine to hatch them out. I see them sometimes on Ebay but i would love to buy them from a reliable breeder. I already have a incubator set up. Thank you
