- Another great jam to "Wicked Lady" Run The Night. Super heavy band from England (68-72) with smokin' heavy guitar wah fuzz that inspired me to do this song. It's our first take on it. Bummer with no bass player but we had fun doing it. Enjoy
nice done, I also use standard tune. The voice is very similar to Martins one!
Hey Mariella, thanks for the compliment, wish I could do another take with a bass player, play it much killer now
hi men. why not recording again, this, and another songs of wiked lady, with a bass in this time, youre play very good this songs not easely.
saludos de uruguay!
Didn't expect this, nicely done
a webo gracias por existir
"Bummer with no bass player"... yeah, too bad I wasn't there. ;)
way better than the shrines version, and these dudes don't need style if they dgaf
fuckin great
Is this in standard tuning or did you guys tune down?
It's standard tuning, it's in the key of B flat. It may not match the song on the album perfectly but that's probably because of the recording is slightly speed up or down, whichever makes sense. I have a device and I believe I slowed it down slightly but it was less than a half step and it matches B Flat perfectly. Just play it in that key to the song you'll see what I mean, it's not really off by that much.
can't figure the solo out what scale are u on? kick ass playing btw
Just a Pentatonic rock/blues scale with some in between notes for some flavour, I'm playing in B flat, I've seen some versions in A. I just did it in B flat because I thought it matched closer to the recorded version which was off somewhat in key pitch. I had a program that was able to slow it down or speed it up somewhat (can't remember exactly)
@@maxoom44 thanks man I appreciate it, I too have heard of people playing it in A but that didn't sound right when I played it but it's prolly just me lol
@@kevinnightmareszzz6140 Hi, like I said I think it's closer to B flat than A, and by changing the pitch slightly I matched it to B flat better than A
what tune you used ?
Hey Cleuton, Thanks for the interest. That tune (originally by Wicked Lady) was recorder on primitive equipment, it could be slower or faster than what was actually played. But take my word for it is in B flat, not in A as most play it, just try it along with the song. If you could speed it up a bit (or slow it down, can't remember) you'll get it, if you're able to do that. My wah with the fuzz here was awful, didn't jive together, much has been improved on that now. But to answer your question about the tune used it is standard tuning, just play it in B flat with the root on the second (A) string as the main bar chord. Send me a video if you can when you get it and I'll help you out to get it right.
can you give a tabs?
Sorry no tabs, learned it by ear. I play it more accurate now. The song is slightly off key, but if you play it in B flat it works, just listen to the wah solo.
you guys kill it. but grow your hair out long , get some fashion sense. make a band. do it . now.
