If people want to legitimately know or remember why Phil became the, at times, villainous character of the last 10 years this entire moment explains it perfectly.
I always come back to this, Steve McFadden remains one of the most phenomenal actors of all time.

I remember this like it was yesterday but this was 10 years ago now, i was only 12 or just turned 13. This is arguably the best episode of EastEnders ever, certainly in my top 5 that i can remember!

One thing I love about these older episodes is the car chases with seriously aggressive driving - you don't see that on Police, Camera, Action!
@lewnik69 Vauxhall Astra's are still used as panda cars around the midlands and yorkshire. I admit they also love the Ford Focus
